UL guns rain

Hi
Lately i see rain of UL guns at Cyrene and i just start to ask my self where all of this going?

I am sure its nice to loot UL iteams for hunter but is it really so good for overall economy, becouse there is so many UL guns these days thay i really get the feeling that there is more of them then players.
Who will buy looted L guns if all of us will use UL? Who will craft L guns if all of us will use UL ones, and if there is no demend for looted staff where is the point?

This is more question to devs but all input is welcomed.

TBH, There isn't that many UL guns vs the entire EU community. I don't think they will always drop so if you get one while community is small consider it a bonus. More people come less chance you will loot one :), Beside some guns contain SIB. Crafting I believe is in the works of getting adjusted so it will be more attractive to crafters and get more of the (L) guns rolling around the universe.

Well i didnt count all of them, but it definitlly makes feeling that Cyrene drop a lot of different ones, and when i compere it to planet Arkadia or Rocktropia, wich are older planet its just makes me think, why the youngest planet decide to drop so many of them for so many different players lvl, whats the plan behind that? are they predicting a lot of players to come that will balance that out?
I really dont know what to think about it, is it good or bad.

MA: Start dropping only L guns
Players: Why there are no UL guns dropping? I need to buy new L gun almost every run. MU on L guns is so high...

MA: Start dropping UL guns
Players: Why there are UL guns dropping? Who will use L guns now? Who will buy my loot now?

Conclusion: Never do what players want because they don't even know what they want.

On the side note there is no "rain" of UL guns on Cyrene. There are 25 UL weapons that i know of. 12 of them for sure doesn't even drop anymore where one of them was TEN edition item (looted twice maybe?). All of them are in very few numbers. Also 7 of them are melee weapons that doesn't really make any impact to other weapons.

Right now there is possible to loot no more than 12 (could be just 10) different weapons, 4 of them are melee, 2 of them can be crafted by almost anyone - weapons with DPS between Sollomate Opalo and Breer M3a, another 4 of them can be considered newcomer guns that doesn't even reach 12 DPS. I don't see how low level UL guns could impact anything as there is already so many L guns dropping that there is no MU anyway.

About the good weapons, like Ranked ones - it is not like they can be looted by anyone. Those players that loot them are grinding those mobs for weeks. Also they have been grinding those mobs for like a year before too. I think that it is fair that they get a chance to cover their losses.

And i agree with that,
The thig is players are not some specialist in econome, at least most of them and they dont know what is going on behind the scene.

25 ul guns you say, and how is that if you compere it to active players at Cyrene?
imagine now that each planet will drop same procent of ul iteams in compared to their own player base.

I like UL toys too, but when i look it from perspective of supply and demand its nothing good. This suppost to be real cash economy game and UL iteams kill it

Your looking at it the wrong way, UL items don't drop based on planet population. There is already a set amount because the dev's know when these items are dropped most will sell them off to other players which aren't on the planet. And trust me I've played this game for a very long time UL Items is all we had before (L) items came out The UL - L gun market wont be affected at all. Keep playing all I can say.

The new UL weapons dropping is very good. Things for a long long time have been very over priced and now finally after everything has settled, we are at a balance point where it makes sense to start dropping more ul items.

So far the market seems to be happily absorbing the new items.

The non-auctionable items are great too. I love those. There is nothing worse than buying a gun at 12K to have someone turn around and sell for too cheap on auction, like for 8K or something and then all of a sudden it looks like your gun is worth less overnight. Its also nice to not have the auction history because it helps prevent the "price" of an item from being artificially increased via in-game auction data.
