Selling Scout Bot Collector XT's loot

I'm considering start doing the scout bot collector XT daily mission, but the problem is that I totally hate the trading part of the game (either it means using the auction or advertising my wares) so selling my loot could easily transform my gameplay from a fun activity to a big nightmare.

That's why I'm asking if maybe there's someone who is interested in such loot (either because they use it for crafting, because they hunt said mobs themselves and they're trying to make some bigger stacks or just because they're into trading/reselling) who could commit to buying certain items from me on a regular basis. Please note that we don't talk about big amounts since I would only kill 110 of them every day.

Despite that everyone kept moaning about having to travel to Caly to get any trades at all, the response was exactly zero. Maybe you have more luck. Cheerioh...

 

What you tried to achieve there was cool, but what I try to do is much simpler and quite different.

Mostly I just look for a not-so-greedy trader to take my loot on a regular basis and sell them (together with theirs) for a bit of profit.

The kind of prices I'm looking to get are something like:
- 6 PED for BTC (instead of 7+ PED, which as far as I saw is the going rate)
- 320% for LGS (instead of 350%+, which as far as I saw is the going rate)
- 500% for Orange Paint (instead of 550%+, which as far as I saw is the going rate)
- 101% for everything else if taken in bulk

I think this would allow said person to still make a small profit, while it would also allow me to enjoy the game without doing the thing that I hate (finding buyers).

Anyway, is just a tentative approach... if I'll find said person, great, if not I'll just not start doing the mission and stick with sweating and that's it.

This planet is a trap if you can't manage your expectations properly. Killing 110 xts per day will hardly get you any btc or lgs, may be some orange paint...And I hope you realize you are looking for trader to buy just about 10 ped of loot daily. If you find one that takes the rest at 101% may as well spread the news, I will come back to the planet and abandon 12k kill points on weeds...

I don't mean to discourage, just to manage your expectations. And yes I would do the mission but not for the loot and would kill xts but much more then 110 per day and not for that mission....

Far now I did exactly that in the last two days. Each of the two days I got 1 BTC, 30 something LGS, and 5 or 6 orange paint cans. Maybe I was just lucky, dunno, but based on my limited experience I have hopes that I could get any of them on at least some quantities. Also, the prices I mentioned were set based on what I saw others selling and cutting about 10% of their MU; if they are off, obviously I stand corrected and I would expect a counter offer.

And yes, that's just a few PEDs per day, but I never said that I want someone to buy them daily; weekly or monthly would be more suitable. The problem is not really the PED roll (not that I'm rich, but at 110 bots per day I afford to keep them hunting for a few weeks or months without selling the loot), but the fact that I hate to look for customers (part of my weirdness of needing stability, predictability and a clear plan).

Anyway, I'm just testing the waters here... if (or when) I will find someone, I will proceed and do the mission, if not I'll just stick with my sweating and don't cry over it.

 

on smaller planets it seems like what you have to do is just prepare to stack a lot of loot up for a few months and then go to another planet to sell it, assuming a pirate doesn't escort you there. Wish there was something like the old STTS or the current QTTS on every planet, but it's hit an miss.

 

i store up peds worth and drop on cyrene auction, if it sells great.. otherwise i fly to caly and transport it via auction
