DFA (Don't Feed the Animals) Society would like to invite everyone to some PvP fun at The Hub every week to celebrate Humpday with a little bit of stress relief.

Each week DFA will show up at The Hub for some fun on Thursday's between the hours of 0000MA-0400MA time, this is between 6pm-10pm in Central Time Zone USA, when most of our society members are online.

There is no reason the fun can't start sooner, this is just the time members of our society are online and can join in on the fun. Feel free to make this a all day bash.

We will start being there this week on 11-28-2013 and will try to be there every week as long as there is interest in doing this weekly.

Feel free to make a small team and work together in there if you wish, this is just a fun free for all no real set rules besides the ones forced on us by the Arena's.

Some Details:
We will start the weeks off in The HUB Proving Grounds, this is the cheapest and give a way to sharpen your PvP skills for little cost. If we get enough interest to move to a Pay Arena people wishing to do so can, it may be interesting in a pay arena if society's or groups of friends team up in there :D.

To enter The HUB Proving Grounds you will need 5 sweat per entry into the arena, each time you die you will need to pay 5 more sweat. For every person you do the most damage to in The HUB Proving Grounds and he gets killed you receive 4 Lime Green tokens. Tokens can be sold or saved to be used to purchase one of 2 types of full length coats from the token broker at the entrance of the arena.

While in The Hub everyone is set to the same statistics (health, speed, skill etc.) some of the arena items that can be used can augment this to give a slight increase in some statistics so look closely at what The HUB items can do. When in The Hub Proving Grounds items only do 10% decay so it is best to heal in the the Proving Grounds Arena instead of healing before entering. Only HUB weapons can be used so you will have to purchase and use HUB weapons, FAPS and Armor. There is a mission that gives a free knife that can be used in The HUB also.

There are some tokens that spawn on the ground in The Hub Proving Grounds Arena that can be picked up as well. I think this is the only arena there are free token spawns.

o this sounds like a ton of fun, think you'll switch it around a little as well? have the event in different arenas?

Not sure, maybe in the future ya, want to keep it in the proving grounds first though to see who shows up and then if enough interest for changing a week to another arena we sure could do that.

EDIT: Actually, this can be an event that runs all day for everyone that just wants to head down there and have fun. It is just DFA Society will show up between 0000MA-0400MA to the party and join in if one is already in progress.

I edited the beginning post to open it up more. No reason to make it so restrictive, we are not giving prizes out or anything just wanting to get some action going down in The Hub on a regularly scheduled basis.

Ya understand, very limited use boots and not sure if they will ever be given away again. I am lucky to have won 2 pairs that night they were given away. I have only worn one pair once and other is a decoration in apartment :D

Thursday midnight to 4am for us in England is a little impractical especially since I have to go to work Friday morning.


Would it be possible for you to hold same time if you like but saturday? I don't have work on Sunday so could possibly make that although i may just clock out on the keyboard if i'm too tired :)

Because of the update this week our society is spread all over the Universe doing personal things so I maybe the only one around on Cyrene tonight from our society. Being no-one showed to the last two events I will not spend the night in the Hub waiting tonight, can work on other missions instead, you will have to contact me if your interested.

Also I am most likely canceling this en-devour, it was a good idea to get some interest in the hub but seems most people do not play at the same time as our society members do and weekends are usually filled with other activities to schedule something on a regular basis. But I heard the PP is scheduling some Hub activities so maybe that will work out better for everyone.
