Hi everyone,

Just thought I would say hello to everyone here and the new comers to the Planet.
I am seriously looking forward to this planet. It would be awsome to have some new blood in the universe and a planet that has a fantastic story line.

I am so sick of the constant grind missions, there has to be something new, something that actually grasps your imagination and takes you places. Telling you a story.

Hope to see all the usual faces there and to those who are new to the planet. Welcome, I know you will not be disappointed.

Heya Syer :) Awesome to see you here - welcome.

We are many who are excited about Planet Cyrene and can't WAIT for the planet to release. I'm sure the community will be positively surprised, as the Planet has a lot to offer, also concerning the possibilities of role playing and be a part of the story line and history.

I keep asking myself ... are we there yet?? :yay: (no one replies though :cry_2: )

It is awsome to be part of the community!!!!

I am looking forward to the story. I believe it will be a good one. It is like christmas... You never know what to expect. But my heart is in favor to Cyrene.

With the question of when it will be released. I don't mind waiting a few extra months. I know that with the wait, there will always be something new to come. Something better.

But it is wonderful pleasure to have been welcomed by you and I hope that when I move to Planet Cyrene, that our society can bring with it a world of oppertunity to the new comers and to the residence therein.

Syer ... it's refreshing to see someone so excited.

As part of the Cyrene Writing Team, I can tell you that there is going to be plenty of storyline that will drive game play in many ways. From quest lines, to important events, to role-playing scenarios that Cyrene citizens will be able to participate in, to many other projects in the pipeline both in and out of the game - this community is going to have plenty to do.

Earlier this morning I spent a lot of time with Ed on storyline, and each time we do this, I learn more and more about how expansive the official Cyrene storyline is. Ed's mind is brilliant in this respect, and the depth of the storyline is massive with so many interesting characters that I can't wait to help introduce them to this community in a variety of ways.

I absolutely love that there's so many twists and turns, secrets and covert operations both in the official storyline, as well as the role-playing adventures of MS9 and Senator Calvin Neff, and a lot of unexpected things that you wouldn't imagine in this sci-fi environment. I can't wait to do my part to reveal where all of this is going, because it's so exciting that I can hardly contain myself at times.

At any rate ... things are coming along nicely, and as Lykke says (in so many words) ... there are a lot of us waiting for the launch of Cyrene and having our opportunity to get acquainted with the planet. :D

Looking forward to meeting you there Syer! :)

Thanx MS9 for the wonderful welcome. It is wonderful to see someone so close to the world bring forward some imagination to me to think of what the world has to offer. It is beyond my understanding and judging from the outlook of concept design and undying love for the planet release, I can only say that I am sitting on hot coals.

The images that have been released are so tempting to think of what is layered in this world of possibilities and above and beyond everything else, the team that drives it. I can only say this in perfect love and trust, that I want to be one of the first to be there and congratulate you all on a job well done and to the creators of the world, I will basically spend a few weeks walking around every aspect of the world to see the detail you intend on adding to the structures and beasts of the planet.

I am one for detail and I respect the work everyone puts into everything. So guys, PLEASE keep up the good work and if you will be so kind, let me know of anything that is happening as I would love to update my website with some inside views of what you have to offer ...

Blessings and light to you all and may all your dreams and imaginations come to life in the world you are about to create. You all are in my thoughts and I hope to be in yours when you release this masterpiece ^_^

My Dear Syer ... you write with maturity, depth, and seemingly old soul wisdom for your tender years, with energy from a place where appreciation of what thirsts to be appreciated is easily wrapped in a genuine aura that embraces both the light at the surface, and the possibilities beyond.

The moment you wrote that you were one for detail, it spoke volumes to me, but ... the fact that your posts are so well-constructed and perfectly manicured also impresses me. I don't miss a thing, and could probably respond in kind at length, but I'm going to reserve that energy for something else that you may appreciate (when I can get to it). :)

I'd like to have a look at your website if that is at all possible.

As far as the writing and storyline is concerned ... I'm extremely excited about it, especially after my session with Ed earlier today and learning of some new things in the pipeline that I'll be involved with. I only wish we had the time to work on all of it at once and get it out to everyone, but at the moment, finishing up development for launch is priority.

However, I am now soul-deep in developing Vida's character and the draft for the Chronicle that will be published with the others. I absolutely love Cyrene's storyline. Not because I'm on the writing staff, but because it's steeped in veins that lure you in, where I can see the possibilities of how it will envelop the community and make them a vital part of Cyrene's continuing history and place in the universe.

I get so lost in thought at times that I forget that I'm just writing a post, so I'll leave it at this for now.

See you on the canvas where you're only brush strokes away from another dimension! ;)

Thank you once again MS9. Your words carry with them a fresh helping of motivation and anticipation. It is very rare that I can say that I am seriously looking forward to the story line that you and your team have been working on. It will be completely mind blowing to see the story that was once a dream be brought to life in a display of colors and animation. One which can be interacted with. Driving a new force and leading the story line towards a future unknown to me.

It is by far one great gift to write a story, but to see it come to life, now that is life in essence. Pure manifestation of ones thoughts and dreams.

In regards to the website, please understand that we started development on it a week ago so it is still in its raw stages but we will be opening it up to the community to start registering this week.

As this will be the first time we advertise the website, We welcome one and all to join and help contribute to the entropia universe.

The website is based on all planets and we are trying to bring all the websites that contribute to this cause together. We wish to help one another to bring forward the true detail and rich environment that Entropia has to offer.

You can have a look at the website here: http://www.everythingeu.com/index.php

But once again, I salute your whole team and yourself because I know how much soul and ambition one needs to make a story. To brings words to life. To spark the imagination. I pray that you all are blessed with the strength to bring forward not just a story nor a planet, but to make a place , like I said before, we can all call home.

Hope to hear from you soon...

I sure hope it is extensive as well MS9 and does not cost to much of the PED we are going to spend on the planet :)

I'm not sure whether or not I envy you lol. While its cool being able to know the parts of the story before hand, not experiencing it in it's finished state seems more like a spoiler to me >.<

But maybe you don't mind because you get to write awesome stuff in return ;)

Can't wait to experience the storyline myself regardless what kind of format it's in.

Hey RAZER ... not sure what the expansive, extensive, and expensive is all about, but ... the official storyline for Cyrene does seem to go on forever, and ... as much as Ed has shared with me so far, there is an unending treasure trove awaiting to be revealed.

Ed wrote the storyline a long time ago, and even he says that to play out the storyline as it is now would take many years ... not a few, but many, and I for one am a believer of such based on what I have been exposed to thus far.

Regarding cost ... Ed has already mentioned in one of his posts (at EP I believe) that there will be multiple levels of game play, including low cost and no cost, so there should be something for everyone.

Despite any level of cost ... the storyline will be rich in all game play, and what doesn't reveal itself in quest lines, will certainly be revealed in important events and activities, as well as other mediums, both inside and outside of the game.

I know expectations are high at this point based on what has been shared by the Cyrene Team so far, and I know that Ed and his development crew are doing all they can to ensure that they deliver what is intended to be delivered. However, as I've always taught my students over the years ... it's best to strive for excellence, and not perfection ... because there are uncontrolled variables that can alter the course of the best made plans.

At any rate ... I believe that Planet Cyrene will offer something quite special based on knowing what Ed's intentions are, as well as what's important to him when it comes to creating an environment that its inhabitants will enjoy and appreciate. He's rather detail-minded, and quite conscious of game play, so I think we have a lot to look forward to after Cyrene launches. :)

It can be trying at times, because when we have these storyline sessions for the projects I'm involved with, there are always those moments where he'll ask ... did I tell you about (this or that) ... and when I say no, he jumps into storytelling mode because he says its good for me to know (this or that) as it will help the writing that I'm doing for my projects to have background.

There are things about the storyline and how it will progress as it relates to specific historical and future eras of Cyrene, but know that we will never be at a loss for storyline whatsoever, and ... the citizens of Cyrene will play an important role along this journey and what path we take.

I think what's most difficult for me is containing my excitement and passion as a result of a more involved association, but ... I would never suggest to anyone to curtail or even filter their excitement and passion about something ... it should always be set free.

What I think is most important to keep in mind when it comes to game play ... is our own subjectivity, which is one of those huge variables that renders any number of opinions and perspectives based on personal experience.

We've witnessed this over the years for sure, and it's true when it comes to storyline as well. I love storyline, as does Ed, along with role-playing and fan fiction, so I think we'll have this aspect of the planet pretty well covered ... and it will cross many mediums. ;)

Hey RAZER ...

As I explain on Skype I screwed up and totally was wrong and I should have known better then to go up against the great MS9 on language ;)

You just used a word I did not know and therefor I thought you meant a different word that could have been in that place which is spelled a bit different. I should mind my own spelling in stead of yours I guess :)

No harm done my friend, it's really not a big problem at all. I actually find it interesting when someone from another culture responds like you did, because that is teaching as well. ;) It's reminding that we inhabit a globally-diverse environment, both in the game and at the forums, and I for one appreciate our uniqueness.

You wrote: expansive
I thought you wrote: expensive
I thought you made a typo and meant: extensive (which could have been in that place and your post would still be about the same)

Now I know that expansive means ever increasing which makes sense in your post of course.

So that was a lesson in the English language for me, thank you for that ;)

Hello guys

I for one, as all of you, cannot wait for the release. I have not been this excited for something new in quite a bit, i trust it will be worth the wait. Will the stats of mobs be released before hand or will it be shoot and see if you can kill it? only reason i ask is, to make it easier for all kinds of players new and old. There is no point in wearing Shogun or Pixie if most of the mobs do Acid or electric damage. Anyway that is something i would like to know and also the health level of some mobs. Last thing i want to know, will a map be released before the official release of the planet?

Pain

Hey hey :) And welcome.

Half of the fun in EU is the exploring aspect of the game - and so far it has been the task of the community to discover the mobs and with that, the stats and locations.

I do however like the idea of having the stats revealed before the launch of a mob (or immediately at a launch) as I also like the idea of a PP made map.

I don't know how it will work for Cyrene - but will ask the C-Team about it =)
