Cyrenean archaeologists recently made a startling discovery. Previously, it was assumed that Planet Cyrene had only been spotted a few years prior after the discovery of the Entropia Universe.
And then, during excavations on Earth at a remote temple sight in Egypt which was discovered buried under tons of sand, a panel with hieroglyphs revealed something that baffled all scientists...
Of course, people had been speculating about the ancient Egyptians being able to travel through space or having been in touch with extra-terrestrial life-forms for thousands of years, but no conclusive proof ever had been presented, until now.
This made scientists have to rethink their entire system of accepted values. If the Egyptians knew Cyrene, chances are there are more symbols out there. And this is where YOU step in.
We are looking for proof, any type of proof, of the Cyrene symbol being spotted on Earth, or other parts of the known universe. Should you find any occasion of them, please do post them here. At the same time, we want you to be aware that not only is it possible to see the Cyrene symbol on artefacts, but there have also been rumours of people seeing them in clouds, cornflake bowls, the fur of a cat and what not.

How to join the event:
- Upload your own pictures with the symbol of Cyrene from around the world in this thread.
- Note, that in game pictures are allowed, but they will not be added the map in the wiki (look further down for info) and real life pictures will get higher points.
- Only one picture per post (you can upload pictures directly in a post) - but you can create as many entries as you want, as long as they are relevant for the event.
- Make sure the pictures are in a proper size - and not too small
- If your picture is taken in a real life location around the world, it is important you ad the city name and eventual coordinates. This is not necessary with an in game location, since they are not pinned to the wiki map (look further down for info).
- If you create a picture using digital programs like Photoshop, Paint etc. but not a picture from a specific location on Earth (and it is not an in game picture), please ad the town/country/coordinates you wish this picture to be representing on the world map.
- Only entries made on www.cyreneforum.com (this thread) are valid for the competition.
- All picture entries with a real life world-location will be pinned on a map in the Planet Cyrene's "Events" section for this event in the EntropiaPlanets Wiki
- You can use all means you have - only your imagination limits you.
- Be aware, that Planet Cyrene (Digital Scryers/Creative Kingdom) and Cyrene Forum can not be held responsible/liable for copy-righted pictures, and if we are notified of pictures violating copy-rights, we will be in our rights to remove them from the contest.
- Make sure your contribution is following the forum rules.
- The funniest or most original images will be rewarded with a date with Ed Robles3. In speedos! On the other hand, maybe an awesome Cyrene T-shirt and some stickers will be more appropriate - but there will be more about the prizes later.
- End date so far for this first round is 1st of April 2012 - but this event will properly continue after this date too (and no, this isn't a hint that the launch date is 1st of April, before or after).
