A.R.C. Offensive - Imperium Snow Base! (March 25 2023 - March 31 2023)

We are excited to announce Planet Cyrene's first official planet event, A.R.C. Offensive - Imperium snow Base.

Zorra has grown weary of the quiet coming and goings of the Imperium. Their brash attacks have wavered over the last few months and something is amiss. Having sent out her scouts she's learned of a new location, The Imperium Snow Base where a new abomination is being created, Mecha Lupine. These behemoths of machine, blood, circuits of destruction must be destroyed before they lay waste to everything we know on Planet Cyrene.

Are you brave enough to attack the Imperium Snow Base? Test your merit starting March 25th, 2023 - March 31st, 2023. Those willing to answer the call from Master Sergeant Robert can find him in the A.R.C. HQ

•Start time 3/25/23 @05:00 game time - 3/31/23 @ 05:00 game time
•Limited time Planet Cyrene Event
•Single Player Instance
•Creature lvl range is from 22-93 with warps inside the instance to take you to their location
•6 hours time out but players are able to enter continually for the duration of the event
•Special mobs with their own Codex
•Planet Cyrene's first ever tradeable skills pills (Skill Juice) and more...

Once you are in the instance there will be warps to take you to certain lvls, this is the grouping for them:
Gen 1 - 2 warp: lvl 22 , 28
Gen 3 - 5 warp: lvl 35, 43, 52
Gen 6 - 7 warp: lvl 58, 67
Gen 8 - 10 warp: lvl 75, 84, 93

What makes this event 'official' and the 'first'?
How is it different than previous events the last 10+ years? Why did none of those count as official events?

The short version is that of the 2 events in the past were 1 time events that could not be repeated (IIRC we've only had 2 others being Tide Claw Madness and the Booth event).

A.R.C. Offensive is planned to run multiple times throughout the year, for the years to come, which is why we're calling it our first official planet event.

Sure Kris,
more exact start/finish times, or state 7 full days maybe. Provide approximate framework of difficulty range (mob lvls), whether shared mob or not, that sort of thing. You have clarified above that this event is to be repeated multiple times, but this info could be included in a fuller announcement later in the week, given that it will have a new codex mob set.
Looking forward to it - hope all goes well!

This is our 1st iteration that we agreed upon with MindArk and we wanted to keep it simple. Just like normal, we really want to have everyone's feedback about the event.

In fact, it's better to try and compare this event more to Migration than to Mayhem (which was the inspiration for this event).

We can use this information to continue to refine what this event is a will be throughout the year.

Just ask mindark to put in loot mayhem tokens,and rare mayhem tokens all problems solved :)

It means you are in an instance with a 6 hour timer, that can be repeated endlessly.
This event is just special event only mobs, in a special instance, that is only accessible for 6 days.

No rules, no prizes, no competition.

The Battle of Imperium Snow Base



The once peaceful planet of Cyrene was facing a growing threat. Zorra, the vigilant leader of the resistance, had noticed the increasing silence from the Imperium. Their once-bold attacks had dwindled, and a sense of unease loomed over the land. Suspecting that something ominous was brewing, Zorra dispatched scouts to gather intelligence on the Imperium's activities.

The scouts returned with chilling news: they had discovered the location of the Imperium Snow Base, a hidden stronghold nestled within the icy mountains of Cyrene. Inside the base, the Imperium was secretly developing a new breed of abominations - the Mecha Lupine. These monstrous hybrids of machine and flesh, with circuits of destruction coursing through their bodies, had the potential to bring ruin upon Cyrene.

Determined to put an end to the Imperium's plans, Zorra called upon the brave inhabitants of Cyrene to join her in a daring assault on the Imperium Snow Base. The mission would take place between March 25th and March 31st, 2023, with only the most courageous and skilled individuals heeding the call.

Master Sergeant Robert, stationed at the A.R.C. HQ, would guide the volunteers to the heart of the Imperium Snow Base using a waypoint device. The intrepid warriors would face Mecha Lupine creatures of varying levels, from 22 to 93, in a treacherous single-player instance. With warps scattered throughout the base, the fighters could quickly travel between locations and confront the fearsome Mecha Lupine.

Although each participant would have a six-hour timeout, they could continually enter the instance for the duration of the event. The battle against the Mecha Lupine would be fierce, with the creatures possessing their own unique Codex that detailed their abilities and weaknesses.

As the people of Cyrene prepared for the battle, rumors spread of a remarkable new reward for those who participated in the event: Skill Juice. These tradeable skill pills were the first of their kind on Cyrene, offering those who consumed them the ability to acquire new talents and powers.

The battle against the Mecha Lupine and the Imperium Snow Base would test the mettle of Cyrene's defenders. As the event drew near, warriors from across the planet gathered, steeling themselves for the challenges ahead. The fate of Cyrene hung in the balance, and the outcome of the battle would determine the course of the planet's future.

As the warriors marched towards the Imperium Snow Base, their hearts filled with determination and courage. They knew that they were Cyrene's last hope against the monstrous Mecha Lupine and that their actions would shape the destiny of their world. United by a common purpose, they prepared to face the darkness and emerge victorious.

Hello there. So you make event only for player who can depo minimum 4000 ped for doing proper cycle ? In lowest instance kill cost for mob is around 4 ped. So this " event" is main and only for 10% of player base of entire game. But it is ok if your goal like planet partner is to be home just for "elite" players or whatever.... You will not build player base this way for sure. Try to attract new players and teach them to enjoy on game and then they will invest for sure. This is not the way except you want to cuddle ubers and give them a chance to loot more unique items they 80% dont need, except for reselling because they alredy have full storages in multiple account of uber items.... So Cyrene you want to be like Calypso? Then say so and continue to make " events" like this. Good job.
