Intrigued by the mystery already surrounding Eve’s Island, I visit 0x101 Supply Depot (137540, 87160) and the N00b Base to have a further look into the water arena Eve’s Playground.

When you arrive at the TP you will immediately notice the huge statue of a person, holding the eternal flame of life in his hand. The symbolism is clear – it's the start of a new beginning, mastering the burning flame of life, power and hope – newcomers entering their new lives on Planet Cyrene where every opportunity stands open.

Being all philosophic, I walk towards the huge rectangle shaped building behind the statue. It looks like it’s been built up by cubes.

"Eve's Playground from the outside. You enter through the glowing doors."
I meet Cain Toltec Wood from the society Antipodean Army, outside the area. It’s the first time for him too, so we decide to join the water arena together. Toltec has been playing EU for 3 years now and been with Cyrene from the very beginning.

Toltec tells me he is not a PVP player, but mostly hunt and mine – but we both agree that this underwater battle arena is awesome! Luckily for me I can’t get shot, and luckily for him I can’t shoot. To us it’s the perfect match :D

You enter the arena through the light blue glowing doors on the outside and as soon as you’re inside, you start swimming. When inside the arena, you are totally locked out from the outside world. And the only sound you hear is the underwater bubbling noises around you from whatever is going on in the arena.

    3.jpg
"What a weird fish inside this building ...!"

The experience is really unique – and the pillars and the little visibility makes this a perfect playground / pvp arena for both newcomers as well as old timers, who are looking for a little bit of “free” fun! If not for pvp’ing, then at least to get a quick chill ducking to rinse off the old dust!

    "Hey fishie fishie fishie ..."

    "Awesome with a little swim"

"That must be some magic underwater fire"

    5.jpg
"Hey now, was it something I said?"
The N00b Base TP is right next to Eve’s Playground – and here you meet John James, the n00b adviser, who will guide you through a small mission (Lend Air).

    10.jpg
    "Get some n00b missions here"

If you care to run south from the TP and Eve’s Playground, you will find the opening to the outside area including the Tanhok Ambassador and more missions – just waiting for you!

A lot of things to explore and a lot of things to discover :shock1:

I'm usually too slow to determine what's killing me in pvp (only in the chat afterward), maybe in the water I'll have a little more time to react :D

I wondered what Eve's Playground was .......... also, the invisible steps are a great feature too(although I really expect it's a bug) .... walk towards the statue at the front & back, you'll find the steps eventually

I quickly read this before, but neglected to make a comment. It was a nice read, and it really sounds like fun, so I'm sure that when Obie and I get to Cyrene, we're going to check this out.

Let's see how much love is in the air. :D

We'll probably be on Cyrene for a while once we get there (soon), because we still have a lot of exploring to do, and I REALLY miss the Zeks. :p
