Get a decay faper. Kenji and fifiv seem to be around and available. They get the skills - and maybe a tip if you feel like it - and your decay and ammo cost per mob will be less since it won't get to regenerate while you fap. It's a win - win for events like this, allowing lower level players...

Same thing has been noticed on various other mobs all around the universe - but strangely not all. It is possible that MA somehow broke the damage calculation when introducing the new 'crit reduction'. Personally I am waiting for the minipatch on 17th to see if things go back to normal.
