What would you do in my situation

Hi everyone!

Im in a bit of a dilema and I need your opinion on current situation.

So the latest VU brought us the option to upgrade a Maddox IV to an Adjusted one.
Costs of Upgrade atm seem to be at around 5k peds, but I expect them to drop a bit in the future.

Now, Im at 50 kills into the stage 5 (put to hold for the moment as I was intending to get a mod fapper for this stage, im asuming this would cost me some 600 peds).

So lets say my total return for the mission chain would be 90%(it will probably be closer to 80-85), and considering the value of reward has already dropped(an HK S1X1 T2.9 on Ah atm for +3.5k) and it will probably drop a bit more.

Will I be better off just buying one of the reward guns or even a Maddox(when price drops a little) or should I be a good Cyrenean and finish the mission(despite the value of the gun dropped quite a lot over the night).

Now Im asking you guys, what decission would you make in my situation?

PS: this was really a motivation killer

Well i stopped the chain without the introduction of the new weapons at the stage you are at now. So i won't hold it against you.

One day when i become more skilled I'll get back to it though

 

i'd watch the market and buy if a bargain comes around. just pick away at the missions when you have time. i was going to push for the BLP pistol but i've switched to melee and i get 63dps at 2.965 eco... so i've no need of the guns but i do intend to get back into it when i land on cyrene as the rifle will work as a tagger

 

I had the same thoughts when I saw that, or even before this VU I mulled over buying vs. doing it myself. Even if just counting TT value of returns, don't forget to factor in the skills you acquire by doing the mission yourself. After all you're to take down several million hp, can't evade from growing your avatar a bit over such a distance.

 

just buy a maddox

 

I bought the S1X4 pistol.
So no rush on the chain, if I ever get back on cyrene.

 

thats the thing guys, as much as I would like to just buy myself an UL weapon, I would like even more to loot it or in this case get it as a reward for my acomplishment.
it seems like ill just be putting the mission to a hold for the moment, my love for the game is telling me do it rush it, but my wallet says dont be a retard.
