Unexpected error

    Went to cyrene today, havent been here for a long time.
    Thought I should do some missions here.
    Anyway after i arrived i talked to some npc at supply depot, picked up few new missions, but directly started to getting error messages all the time, relog, repar installation etc but nothing helped.
    I couldent do anything on this planet so I just returned to caly, making a support case on the way.
    Answer came fast, just abandon mission.
    Now I wonder, what mission it is that causes the bug.

    When you get that 'unexpected error' I have seen it on a few planets now. READ the full message carefully. Most of the times it tells you in the verbage, which specific mission in your list is causing the bug. Go in and delete that mission and it should clear it.

    Ermm... there are two things about this... A: no mission is specified and, B:, it seems not to be limited to Cyrene. I did a round trip to Caly and got them there, too..lol.. I was wondering if it was ME :eek:... I am going to try to post some from Cyrene.. didn't do any on Caly... Didn't think of it :oops:. Cool, looks like it worked.

    I get the same as ice flame. happen after the mini patch. the error recurs every 30 sec or so.

    From what I can tell.. it occurs every time I have a state change.. eg... Loot drop or moving out of the map square. I can walk a small distance from the vendor area in Depot and cross the "line" into the "main" area.. this gives me that error message.

    Ok the recent one is the mang chang, and rhino beetles.
    That's the Heart of the Plains mission and the Rhino Rampage mission.

    If you have not done any progress on them, just delete and reget them and the error will be gone.
    If you have done very little progress and don't care if you lose a few hits do the same
    If you HAVE done progress to them, and want to save that progress.

    1. File a support ticket with MA.
    2. When they tell you they have your 'numbers' you can go ahead and delete and reget the mission.
    3. Let them know you did this and they will re apply your progress to the mission again.

    IMPORTANT: If you do NOT tell MA and WAIT for them before dumping the mission, any progress you have will be lost.

    ps thanks to krasko for reminding me what critters were on the misisons again.

    Cheers for the info, I also managed to get it in game. for me it was heart of the plains, which I had 0 kills for. So just abandoned.

    thanks for the support ticket to keep the numbers, useful to know for future!

    Can someone tell if the Rhino Rampage - Rank 1 is still working? I have the mission, but the counter is not displayed and I don't know how many kills I have and not happy about dropping the mission and restarting.

    Looking for help!

    the counters do still work, while my rhino is fine, i had no counters on my Swamp 5k and Drill Bots 5k, both did update after the required kills. Downside it will drive you crazy, unless you're keeping count you will think you should have finished, even tho your like 75% in.

    now i have heard that contacting support about it, they can fix it. drop them a message and follow their instructions

    Thank you! I did send a support case and MA responded in a reasonable time. They let me know my current kill count an said they would forward the case to cyrene reps.
