If you are "lucky" to loot an A.R.C. Tier 1 Limited Weapon Voucher, you can refine it with 150 PED TT Zorn Star Ingot in order to obtain a Weapon Cube, something that will give you access to an Ecotron v.15e (L) in the Hub - provided you have 200 Badges already.

I do not see the incentive here. The whole process seems unfair to me as the Ecotron has only a TT value of 100 PËD.

The required quantity of Zorn Star Ingot is obviously too high. Is this not a bug?

    Hey WangXiang,

Looking at the market for Zorn Star Ingots over the past year just under 109% and get lower over the week/month/day.

While this is not a bug, I do agree that the shear amount of Ingots (3,500) is quite high (although correct for the system), although compared to the same amount of say Shrapnel (1,000,000) felt a bit better.

That being said we believe that Planet Cyrene can always be improved and welcome all suggestions.

    Cheers,
    Kris

1M Shrapnel (100 PED TT) would be relatively fair for a 100 PED TT value weapon, but 150 PED TT value Zorn Star Ingot is clearly not.

There is no chance the weapon reaches at least 50% MU given its features. If things remain unchanged, nobody in his right mind will go through this cumbersome process to obtain it (except maybe once, to see what happens).

    3500 Zorn Star Ingot = 105.00 PED
    5000 Zorn Star Ingot = 150.00 PED

One of you has the numbers wrong and I can't check right now who. :)

    Hey guys,

    Zorn Star Ingots.PNG

I think there is a fair criticism here, and there's honestly no harm to come up with some other other options and talk to MA about changing the ingredients for this transformation.

    Cheers,
    Kris

I just made the test as I could acquire 3.5K Zorn Star Ingot on the auction.

    Entropia 2019-10-09 19.43.52a.jpg

The required amount is effectively 3.5K (and not 5K) :)

Nevertheless, the cost to acquire a 100 PED TT weapon is around 115 PED (105 PED TT value + 10% Monthly MU for Zorn Star Ingot), which remains a bit high. 1M Shrapnel would be a better option, for sure.

    Hey everyone!

It's been a hot minute, I do keep my eyes on forums once in a while and ill chirp in here as the TT Value vs Market Price TT is 110% my fault. I suggested it to be slight higher than the TT Output to make it less rewarding for reseller sharks. This is something I feel should be enjoyed by people that put time, effort, and of course peds to obtain. However, having it 100% at TT has negative effects as well. Cyrene Team has been working on ways to have these items and vouchers placed in-game and looted. It's much easier said than it is done, I'm always happy to hear more feedback players have and I wanted to make sure this was intentional and not in any way a bug.

If the cost and effort to obtain this weapon are too high (and I think they are) players will just don't try to obtain it and looted vouchers will remain unused. The whole initiative will have no positive impact on the Cyrene economy (the impact will even be negative)... so it will objectively be a failure.

It's to turn off re-sellers from (L) weapons as it was suppose to be much easier to obtain than it is now.

It's not what we had planned, we have no control over loot drops or the rate of drops.

    I cannot agree more!
The Vouchers are already hard to get, been hunting mang changs as crazy, havent even seen a L one not speaking about UL Voucher. lol... so for sure these Vouchers are not easy to get. Shrapnel is way much better than any other material.

    Hey guys,

I'll touch base a bit on these comments:

It did get a bit too expensive going to the chosen crafted mats, but I think shrapnel might not be the right component.

Perhaps a new simple Cyrene crafted item specifically for creating this weapon? (just an idea of course).

I have to go back and make see the reason it was changed, away from shrapnel as well, to make sure we're (Planet Cyrene) isn't causing any issues with making more changes (which will go through MindArk anyhow).

This is something that is an easy adjustment, but it's something that I can talk about with the team, but I don't think it's off the table.

Thanks for feedback/questions. We're committed to making Cyrene better with each VU and the vendors are something we want to use in the future, so we want to get the tuning for all moving parts correct.

When I have more to say about this I'll reply here.

    Cheers,
    Kris
