Stalker mission unlock

I assume this forum's admins don't get off on enforcing necro rules and what not, so I add this little info here.

Just got around to this and went for a little bit of Stalker trashing. The task is getting 150 killpoints; E-Stalkers give 3, F 4, G 5 points. It is repeatable after ca. 22 hours, or so Duvall says. I chose Evade reward which increased my Evade points from 3609 by 4 to 3613 and my Evader profession from 24.1571 by 0.0084 to 24.1655 (I still don't know how to translate this into PED value). Given no other skill gains and linear progression in the observed bracket, I would need only another 100 rounds exactly to unlock Avoidance. Yay! A nice global had a Ozpyn BRS-P12 (L) in it. Always liked this mob, too.

 

Go to entropedia Avatar Skill Calculator, input - Start skill level: 3609, End skill level: 3619 - click 'Implant', it replies with:
Implanting, required chip size: 0.43 PED

3609 to 3619 is not "by 4", however.

Bonus tip: if you relog before taking a mission reward, you can get the data down to two decimals from the progress panel (rightclick > My Avatar > Progress).

 

Oops, my bad c&p editing. The resulting points were 3613, now corrected above. Got screenshots before and after, so sure of it now.

I had all forgotten about the chipping calculator over the time the site had performance problems. I should read up on what the formula actually is. Thanks.

I take the decimals of the profession levels down to 1E-4 by mouse-over on the progress bar there. Haven't paid attention to skill point fractions, should do from here on.

 

assuming you went from 3609.00 - 3619.00 its approx 17pec evade. weird to think my evade is 200 points less but i'm lvl 32 evader, think it's mainly the power of my athletics and combat sense

 

Alright, another round just now, this time exactly: Evade increased from 3615.16 to 3618.58, TT value is 0.15 PED. And every day a nice global so far, hope they can keep this up
