Planet Cyrene VU Preview Fall 2023

Hey guys,

I’m here again to share the new additions, changes, and updates coming to Planet Cyrene in the next PP VU.

We’ve taken time over the summer to revamp and streamline the new player experience on Cyrene. We’ve tried to make it more straightforward mission-wise along with better quality hunting/swunting with more clearly defined creature biomes.






We’ve also injected some additional missions for lower level players in this area, particularly with:
Ben Kerry, Paneleon Hunter Jameson, and the Auraforger Sweat Master.




Carnap’s Landing is being retired, and will no longer exist in the next update.
However, a new event area has been setup at Ngu Volcano (Ngu Volcano Land Area).
We have received a lot of feedback about the Land Area in general and this should a better location for events going forward.



Furthermore, we’ve changed the Duster Hazing Station into two separate event PvP areas:


Firstly the Duster Event Station is a PvP Event Area that still has a Token Splinter Item Spawn to help encourage PvP and player made events.


Secondly is the Turrelion Event Station, which works similarly to the Proving Grounds, where you can pay Sweat to enter and earn Reward Token (Lime Green), but still allow players to use their own equipment. PvP events are also able to happen within this area.


Lastly, Jacob has been hard at work making sure that any H.E.A.R.T. Rank VI, VII or VIII can be upgraded at anytime during the chain. For the coming VU if you are already working on adding utility to your H.E.A.R.T. you can finish. But if you haven’t, then now will be a great time to start to make your H.E.A.R.T. Speedy or Vigorous!

Of course, there’s more changes coming as well, bug fixes and improvements overall, as well as making sure we can restart the A.R.C. Offensive without any hiccups, so be prepared for that news coming as well.
