If you will be opening up the old areas again, which sound cool, why did you downsize and put all three areas in this one small server area over night? It all sounds good but something just doesn't sound right here..also btw, why have all other developer posts been removed here? Seem we only have two developer posts that have not been removed? How many are still working for Cyrene? Could we please get a post from the CEO about all this?

 

I think more then for calypso, Toulan, RT and NI combined, since there is more new content and player communication coming from cyrene then from those 4 planets

 

I believe they covered in detail already why they moved everything to this one area / server. There is a major renovation happening on the other servers and it is just easier this way. It probably is saving them a little money as well, not running all the servers.

Not sure how many dev's are still on the team, maybe they are busy fixing the 'old servers' which is why we don't hear from them much? Some of the other planets have 'cycled' dev's as well so I don't think that is something really unusual in the big picture.

Im still waiting for the CEO of General Electric to reply to me why my light bulb that was supposedly good for 700 hours burned out at 698, I think it's a conspiracy to be honest.

Don't necessarily have to hear it from the CEO what is going on, any reliable source works, and besides, it's the internet, I can sign on and claim to be the CEO and say any gibberish you want to hear and you'd not know any better really.

Every now and again I get REALLY tired of sloppiness! Speeling mistkes is on thing if yu is not Nglish, but mistakes you know are mistakes if you actually bother to check what you are doing...... that really takes credibility away by the truckload! Not helpful if you are struggling with that already. Mistakes are sometimes not just mistakes, they are a mentality!!!!
Currently on Cyrene, by the way, so I'm not complaining from afar.
Instead of this dynamic update stuff, can you please work on fixing the tps, the missions that are not showing counters, maybe even something as simple as a longer daytime and shorter nighttime? I'm getting depressed here!
POSITIVE: There are more players on Cyrene now, also ones asking for directions in chat etc. That's something I suppose.

 

So what you are saying here is that at this current time your team is very small? All in all I hope it all works out for you and hope to see the old Cyrene back as it was if it ever will be. You had one of the best looking planets in game and time will just tell where you go from here.

 

I think they are on the right track. Once they finally do go full open I think it will improve greatly.
The number of people on a 'team' does not mean much really. You can have a whole group of lazy idiots and nothing ever gets done..but the 'team' is HUGE... just look at the post office as an example You can also have a few dedicated folks who do awesome things. Quality outweighs quantity any day.

Also don't forget, some of the things they can not control either, MA has a history of sliding the schlong to their planet partners as well. Cyrene may have their hands tied on certain aspects, and essentially are at the mercy of MA to get around to it.

I know we all are anxious to see what the new Cyrene will bring us, and are disappointed a bit at the delays but so far it seems they are doing the right thing and getting it working for the most part, instead of putting out a totally bugged out piece of crap.

just wondering, where do skreels come on this map? as they are in between Mer Beach, Great Plains, and Ice Plateau.

Plus im looking forwards to the latest map, as a couple of areas must have upgraded

 

Agreed, we are pretty due for an update. Im surprised Panton Jungle did not upgrade a lot more than it did with the santa event and everyone there doing that.

Im waiting for the mining upgrade too, as I bet many folks are.

When will the other areas be opened up again and how will you redo the current area to work in with the old map?

 

I think it could work if the whole ocean is its own area, so skreels, muckjaws & the others all count together. But I think something needs doing with the underwater visibility first.

 

Yeah I stopped hunting underwater since mobs get stuck often.
And waiting for the updates. Of everything

 

Will the A.R.C Faction vendor be restocked (mainly the guns) this PP VU?

 

i would advice against it. Whoever logs in first will just empty the whole terminal. Maybe if you could only buy 1 a day/week.
