Cyrene Apartments

In some upcoming VU (fairly soon) I strongly suspect apartments will be added. Mainly because of the Zyn fireplaces added last year and the mob replica statues added recently.

Unless the replicas are pocket monsters only.

So where do you think the apartments with show up?


My bet is the Stoned Flats LA W of ARC HQ tp.

i guess its janus and inner outpost areas, but maybe some cute zyn huts too?

Apartment in the hub would be nice. So I can put up my feet after a hard days work

My suggestion about this based on experiences with other apartments on other planets:
DO NOT MAKE APARTMENT BUILDING COMPLEXES. They are too annoying with invisible wall bugs showing up, lag, etc. Also it's just bad to decorate a place no one will ever see or visit as all the buildings look alike.

Instead, build a thriving city where every building is unique and is maximum 2 stories tall unless it's some special building or something. Use something like the old Minopolis pre vu 10 on Calypso as inspiration.

 

Thank you for the great input Mastermesh. I agree completely that bugged apartment towers (remember the bugged balconies?) are not the way to go, and that smaller housing complexes would add a lot to the sense of community.
