The older mission as far as im aware is another mission after the 5k not sure if its 10k? yet no one has confirmed this. I have not compleated any 5k missions myself - have heard is nothing after the 5k swamper mission (bugged maybe)? A.R.C. Challenge – 500 SwampLurkers - Reward Choice...

I've done a few team hunts on Cyrene and can confirm the person with the most damage will gain the kill points, not sure if this only certain mobs but I guess it's all. I like your idea of team hunting, you can easy share the kill points by using the same weapons. Goodluck :)
