Is Cyrene death?

Hello, I'm new and I started to Cyrene.
The planet is really beautiful, but so far I have found only 4 players. Are all on other planets? Why is it so empty?
I feel like Robinson Cruso on this planet.
The auction house is no trade, because how can you stimulate the economy?
Admit it, even for newcomers missions? So far I have found nothing, except for emissions Empire token.
I'm from Germany, so excuse my English.
I have translated the text using Google and hope it is to understand.

and about the population, yes it is a little thin on cyrene...but in entropia, you can't profit from things that anyone does, so i think there are great opportunities here

(i have to admit, that i haven't been on cyrene for couple of weeks)..

 

Hi and welcome to Cyrene and Cyrene forum.

Cyrene is a 'fairly' new planet and we still have a lot in stock for you guys - so hold your breath - we're not dead =)

We are expecting Cyrene to be more 'busy' by time.

We have spent lots of months on releasing little by little and in between fixing whatever issues there have been - as we also constantly ask the community for opinions, bug reports etc. so we hopefully at the end will have a full function planet with a lot of awesome places for you to explore, mobs to hunt down, things to craft, stuff to mine [insert stuff].

Until then I hope you will hang in with us and help the planet grow =)

Lykke would you be willing to answer the follow questions with "yes", "no", "can't talk about" or "other" responses. If you can would be appreciated.

1) Has there been a reduction of staff working on Cyrene in the past months? (yes/no/can't talk about/other)
2) Are you expecting an update for Cyrene in June? (yes/no/can't talk about/other)
3) Are you expecting to increase staff working on Cyrene anytime from June-December 2013? (yes/no/can't talk about/other)

1) Which best describes the amount of time you have spent on Cyrene? (minutes/hours/days/months/can't talk about it)

Days would be most accurate. Although if I added up the days I would not be surprised if they went into a month or two.

 

As you saw, Kris already was faster =)

 

Yesterday i made a longer trip. I was surprised and delighted to meet her more players.
I am really missing is a beach house and a campfire.

 

i am sure we can get a zyn campfire going at the beach

 

In this area there is certainly still too dangerous for me.

 

Cyrene is an awesome planet, and when the development team is ready to reveal the further mysteries and secrets that bring the planet more to life, I believe it will all make more sense. As a previous member of the Cyrene Writing Team, I can confirm that the storyline is absolutely amazing and vast, with twists and turns that will surprise and invite you to want to know more about how it will all unfold.

I'm sure there are many variables that have played into the slow progression of the planet, but I know that Cyrene has a quality team, and that it's important to get it right, which is why they appreciate player feedback, so keep sharing your experiences.

Thank you Kris for responding to inquiries about where Cyrene is at, it helps to understand that things are still on track, even if it's not at the pace that many might have expected.
