What's up with keybinding? I'm really hoping that somehow I've just missed how to customize the movement keys

You can add the movement keys to a different location, but you can't deleat the movement keys from the preset location.... Not sure why either..

Hold the phones!! I just discovered that when the G and L key are pressed to open up the keyboard map and edit panel that and "Active Set *" becomes available that allows me to fully customize every key on the board....remove/move/replace etc. I'll post afterward to see how it works out!

OK so any changes made in the "Active Set *" keyboard will change those keys across ALL active sets once the edit panel is closed. So now my Q and E keys are strafe, my A and D keys are turn and my spacebar in jump....this feels much more like right!

Oh it's all good! I'm just glad it's possible to customize. In fact in my search for help on this topic what I found most was people citing the lack of customization as a reason for not wanting to play the game. Now I'm going to go attempt to find some of those sources and set folks right. I think it would do the community a whole lot of good though to have much clearer instructions on this available to newbies. I've played tons of MMO's and I've never had this much trouble figuring out something that should be really simple.

Yep the learning curve here is set to expert from the start. They are slowly bringing things in to help new players start, but reality is, this game is one part MMO, and one part, research project.

It's good to see you taking the initiative in helping new players figure things out. This is the biggest asset of this game, is it's players. You will find a lot of people here that will go out of their way to help new players out. One of the biggest draws for me to this game was the community. Thank you for your part!! :)
