The Ultimate noob mission

Struggling a little with this one, can you really only kill 4 types of mobs (none of which have any other related missions) to complete it ?

I probably should just ignore this mission and do others that are way easier and would give out quicker and better rewards, but I am a bit of a completionist and it really seems to me that before doing any other missions on Cyrene you should be completing this one first.

Any advice or tips are very welcome, have a great Christmas folks and a better new year than the last one

 

I also think that if you are thinking to play more on Cyrene this is the first mission you have to do. I am thinking of using melee weapon for it. But more on this after Mayhem.

 

This mission depends on what level and skills you are. If you are a complete noob hunter id hunt arrets for animal lootet or xt robots for robot looter. Whichever one of these you focus on determines which mob you kill when doing ultimate noob. Get a few more HP and defense skills, maybe a bit more bankroll then move on to these. If robot looter is your focus kill the robots. You can sometimes loot btc and can get a little markup here and there on some of the parts. If animal looter id choose the birds. They can drop rubber and their hides get MU. Its what i did when i did this mission years ago. Be careful since theres a big one in the middle of the spawn or used to be that will kill you. Tree Dragons have more MU currently in Jagged Tooth and rubber but they have better regen too so are slightly more expensive to kill.

This mission is great because afterwards you get a clothing line mission that allows you to count ALL Cyrene kills towards it. When i did it I sold the clothing set for about +400 if i remember correctly. It may have changed since the clothing is now upgradable.

The weeds are glitched and randomly disappear after you get a few shots in them. DO NOT HUNT!!

 

Yeah I noticed that, annoying I think its just down to the pathing of the mobs, as they still attack you from seemingly underground.

 

As Kris stated in another thread:

We have a couple other ideas in mind that we are in the process of testing to get this issue resolved.

For the time being, I will point out that you do not have exclusively kill the dire weeds for the ultimate noob challenge.
You can kill the following instead within the location:

• Weak, Watcher, Solider Tree Dragons
• Weak, Watcher, Solider Scout bot
• Any maturity of Sea Wraith

All that being said, what I will do is increase the spawns for these specific mobs so no one person is fighting with another to complete said mission.
Full clarity, I had thought about removing the dire weeds in itself from the mission but it will cause huge errors for those currently on the mission and even possibly for those picking it up in the future.
