Do the tameable arrets still exist? If so, where's the spawn for em? Island between docks and supply depot seems to only have young and higher maturity, which are not tameable. Cyrene Secret's map indicates that's only location of em? I seem to remember some in that general area a few years back, but nothing appears to be there today that is tameable?

(for those wishing to skill up in taming, lack of these low hp tameable critters will cause tamers to just not come to this planet I suspect... next up the food chain is the paneleon, which are easy enough to get to since they are close to the rookie tp but the hp on em is pretty high, making low damage whip like the viper (2-5 hp with 5 being a crit) a bit hard to have a go at em...

The tameable arret spawn that I remember here from a long while back was awesome vs the other planets... I remember it was farily close to a bridge and coastline, but don't remember exact coordinates?

Calypso's got puny bristlehog next to PA mall, but it's fairly easy to get several of them on you at once if you aren't careful since they are all on a little hill next to the beach, so they tend to fall down the hill and gather in mass in a small radar full of red... not nearly as bad as panthers on Rocktropia though...usually ended up with about 3 mob on me there on average. It's also extremely boring after a few months since it's so close to the puny hunting grounds, an area most colonists lived in a looong time when they first started...

Rocktropia has pantha ridge, but it's designed in a decay happy way... the spawn is a sea of red, and there's some high level panthers near the edge of the spawn making it a bit tough to stay on outer edge of spawn there. They also have the tp/chopper there purposefully set in center of the spawn while the revive terminal is a small jog away... making it a bit of a pain if you plan leave. Usually ended up with about 5 mob on me at a time there on average.

Arkadia's got the nusul and those were comparable to the spawn density and size Cyrene had based on what I can remember.

Toulan has tabtab... those are also somewhat comparable mob to what cyrene had from what I remember, but they are kind of annoying since the spawn is actually almost too low in density there, and you have to keep running from one side of a cliff to the other side to get to the next mob.

The island idea where it's a relatively flat area was awesome. If it is gone for real, are there plans to bring it back? If it's still here, what are the coordinates?

If you are taking suggestions on new locations for the tameables... I'd suggest keeping the tameables in a spawn by themselves with no other maturity somewhere (maybe where they were, maybe elsewhere), and also doing something interesting with another more dense spawn elsewhere...

also, perhaps do something interesting such as putting them on top of the maxe in a small spawn in center area of the maze, so they'll only spawn on top of the maze istelf, not inside of it... if that's even possible? Just seems logical to put it there or somewhere in that general vicinity since the maze is all about taming, and low level tamers probably may be looking for something to do while waiting for the daily timer on maze to reset there, etc.

If it's possible to set up 'taming missions' that would work parallel to iron missions for tameable mobs that'd be swell to. Pretty sure it's not possible yet, but it'd be nice if it was available once it was.

It was a long time ago that the arrets apparently became bugged and untamable. Yes the area was the little island directly below the supply depot. I only ever saw one maturity - 20 hp/tamable. It was one of my reasons for being on Cyrene / liking Cyrene. The issue of taming them being broken was taken up, but there was no resolution mentioned and I assume no solution found.
Yes, it's a pity, but I kinda shrug my shoulders about it now. If I fancy the slow pace once in a while I do bristlehogs nowadays or go tree harvesting...

hmmm... so if they aren't tameable anymore, should they be made in to ancients like the others that no longer can be tamed?

    Hey mastermesh,

Currently the Arrets are bugged an cannot be tamed at this time, nothing was changed on our end so we're trying to see what caused the issue and resolve it with MindArk.

This is very interesting, and I believe can be setup, but it might end up with bug/glitches of the Arrets falling into the maze itself, it's something to look into though.

100% not possible, we already tried to set this up and it received confirmation from MA that it was not possible at this time.

    Cheers,
    Kris

Thanks for the fix. I'll likely be back to tame some arret soon. ;)
