Dire weed A.R.C. challenge broker is Challenger Russell at Rookie Training Area, not A.R.C. Staging.

My optimistic guess is that reverting the mission to an earlier state might have fixed it for those who didn't drop it; I plan to check this next week.

sigh... alrighty then and to clarify:
Q1: those who dropped and regot the missions saw errors return this last vu. Dropping the mission(s) again stopped the errors, I assume? (so Cyrene is playable at least)
Q2: Haruto plans to check next week what errors (or not) come up if he returns with his original uncancelled mission(s)?
My version shows the mission counter I think, as I finished my original one where the counter was bugged on dire weeds. My conditions may thus not be identical to Haruto...

It will be a bit of a bummer if I end up deciding to cancel the mission after all !!!

Also, as a side note: maybe it is not a good idea to have things slated in for patch releases at all, but only in the main relaease, because if there are bugs, then MA may simply once again refuse to implement a further patch and players will not know how long it will be until even an attempt can be made at fixing stuff...

 

I had finished a stage with the counter not working and started the next one, with a working counter. (IIRC I'm around 3k/5k into it). I've never dropped any of dire weed missions.

So probably conditions are identical (or at least highly similar) but I might not make it to Cyrene next week (atm on Monria, still have to visit Caly to sell lots of stuff).

 

Just to make it clear based on:
1) my experience: those who didn't cancel the mission since last VU (I have 12k/20k, and yes had missing counters in the past as well) still have error code.
2) feed back from Cyrene channel: those who did cancel had error code again, most went and cancelled once again and didn't bother to retake until 'dust settles', some got confused where to retake the mission as NPC been moved quite a lot.

So I assume now ALL players that have the mission active will have error code again, regardless did you cancel it in the past or not.

If your only reason for the trip is to test, I would wait for mini-patch. Hope Kris would find a solution by then.

well ive just landed im all good, as of yet no errors

i didn't cancel the mission at all and im on the 9000 kills, so perhaps the killpoints are affected while kills arn't?
