Whats the incentive? perhaps a change needed?

So I know not ALL maturities have been added due to dynamic updates but whats the story with crystal pedes? For Instance:

The 20k killpoint mission

Youngs which have 100 hp are worth 1 point
Crystal engorged which have 1000 hp are only worth 4 points


Whats the incentive of spending more peds and more risk with the crystal engorged when i can just kill 4 youngs instead and get the same exact point award and only then spend time killing 400 hp total instead of 1k ?


Seems to me you would want to give a bit more than 4 points for those?

 

They have different loot table, not sure if you can get a flamethrower off youngs.

What makes these seem worthless is that there are too many of them, the same with purslane weed. IMHO the mechanics of those 'boss' spawns needs to be changed so that there is no more than one at a time.

 

not about the loot table to me its all about mission completion. What you get form loot never has any bearing to how many kills you get and the skill reward at the end though. If different loot table then perhaps a separate mission for them all together though.. But yes def mayby something to look into

 

Also, if we look at other planets, mission points aren't proportional to HP there either, for example:

• Berycled (Calypso):
  • young - 70 HP, 2 mission points (0.02857 points/HP)
  • stalker - 560 HP, 12 mission points (0.02143 points/HP)
• Ostelok (Arkadia):
  • young - 20 HP, 10 mission points (0.5000 points/HP)
  • stalker - 150 HP, 26 mission points (0.1733 points/HP)

Still, killing bigger mobs lets you finish the mission sooner because you can use a bigger gun.

 

wait till you go to the next stage, youngs are worth 4, CE are worth 0. i didn't mind 4 points for them as i would kill the youngs and when there was too many CE i would put armor on and kill them all and i had some decent globals from them, probably the reason i finished over 100% return after 37.5k kills

 

still I mean whats gonna happen when the dynamic updates coem and crystal pede mature old and up get introduced? because they hardly aggro and the youngs are there it makes no sense whatsoever to kill a crystal engorged when 4 younsg will be cheaper.... Seems to me the planet would benefit more from me spending more money I.e. risk reward.. Thats my thoughts on that

 

also is there any way you could tone down the way the crystal engorged jump up in the air so much when they land on you all I see is a wire frame model tis very unnatractive and ruins the game play experience imo. I know since its hilly it could be a challenge.. Ty

 

I agree with that, this is alot of pain to hunt them in mountain. Another area should be better

 

One other thing perhaps kris can look into it.... Even though I personally feel they are unfairly pointed I did not want to see them dissapear... Past two night only 2 spawn? whats gonna happen when I do my 50k and the youngs dont count? Anyone aware of this? doing the 50k would not be feasable with only two spawning?
A few months back there were alot more than just the two crystal engorged.. Would def like to see more return though

 

Young are worth 4 points on the 50k, engorged are zero. So if the spawns are less it will suit you more

np, when i read it on my phone, the comma between the 4 points and CE did kinda blend in. i am curious how the 20k repeatable will be scored, its not active atm
