I couldn't help sounding off a little jaded about the holiday event here:
    http://cyreneforum.com/threads/holi...tch-notes-december-13th-2016.7489/#post-25844
Just wanted to say, if there is no chance to change a setup which allows e.g. a party of 3 with 3 tokens each to hog the spawn for 9 hours straight, then I'm not interested in returning for it.

I don't know at which point in the ladder of higher-ups such a restriction is demanded and I don't understand the rationale behind it. You don't attract a mass of people if only a small number gets a chance to do something. Turned around, this argument even makes for conspiracy theories, if the reasons cannot be communicated. For all its greatness, this planet more than any other one is dotted with similar bottlenecks attracting campers, hoggers, profiteers, but creates frustration for casual players.

I like the way the epic mission chains are designed, regardless the rewards fell a little out of fashion in the meantime, but you know exactly what you get for a set workload. I also like a setup like the warehouses (Arkadia), provided you can gauge your chance and derive a budget from it. I don't like a setup where players are pitted against each other in a way that antisocial behaviour has the highest chance of winning. (I may have an idea what to do about this, but it's immature yet.)

With that said, of course I remain positive and very much look forward to what is coming!

Merry Yuletide and best wishes for 2017!

We have an altogether great planet, which suffers from a few flaws. They are being worked on while there are enough other choices to keep one occupied for as deep as pockets reach. Personally, I don't need a specific occasion to be motivated to return whenever I can. The other day I found a nice little surprise trying out mining on the new island, which I count as worthy Christmas present ;)

Why would MA distract customers from their Mayhem event.
We can have it in March :D

Cyrene's trademark has always been to get things out when they can get them out. Yeah they've had a lot of bad streaks and issues. It is what it is. However, those that have played on Cyrene long enough know that's how it is and learn to accept it or leave. Complaining about it doesn't do anything other than point out the very glaringly obvious issue...oh look it hasn't happened it. Don't you think everyone on there already noticed that? Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year's!

    Hey guys,

I did amend the patch notes:

Haven't heard anything back out this event spawn as of yet, but as soon as we can get it out there we'll put it out.

The planned spawn for this year was more similar to 2 years ago, where it has a lot of the large holiday jellyworms with a big HP pool would spawn near the Panton Jungle Teleporter.

Hilarious, but Christmas was very implied =)

Either way, as soon as I have information on when this will happen, I'll post it up on the forums and in the Client Loader as well.

    Cheers,
    Kris

No, it wasn't, once the event was live we had prepared a small write up / images to put on here and link to the client loader.

Sometimes the mystery is more fun, sometimes it can backfire of course (like this case).

I think in the future for planned events there will be more details.

Lets face it MA really messed up VUs and the patches in this month. (December 2016)
Since 15.10.0 every planet got at least 1 mystery bug this month.

    - Ark's shops doing constant reloading no matter how low/off settings are set.
    - No notes for 15.11.1
    - Gold Rush NPC's missing after vu
    - Toulan TabTab hide became very rare drop
    - Monria lost some light
    - Calypso wrong year Julklapp 2015 gifts given and Jul Star Plant didn't have an icon
    - 15.11.2 made Merry Mayhem instances go missing, then after fixing at least 1 Mayhem NPC was missing,
    - and that's about when RT gifts mysteriously stopped going out
And that's just the ones I recall lol.

My Top 10 predictions for VU 15.11.3 and it's bugs:
    1. Bug all pets become about 20 feet tall making them 3 to 4 times taller then avatars!
    2. Weapons shoot harmless sparkly rainbows with a magical harp-like sound.
    3. Melee weapons look like big rubber chickens and make hilarious squeaky sound when hitting mobs.
    4. When mobs are killed they become deedless 20 foot tall leprechaun pets that follow your avatar.
    5. Must feed all your leprechaun pets or they'll take yer lucky charms...
    6. Bug disables all sounds and makes people on RT have quiet riot.
    7. new item at TT called: Space Vaccination Shots
    8. Posters everywhere: "Get Space Vaccination Shot to enter space and avoid... Space Herpes!"

Anyone else think getting space herpes has to be better then buying avatar statue...

Oh ah ha ha ha nearly got off topic there.

As I was saying MA seems to be having real problems getting this months updates and patches done correctly.
So this month Cyrene definitely isn't alone in this regard.

    Hey guys,

Right now all the focus has been on the up coming VU, however it's something that is still on the docket and we are still planning to do.

Due to the lateness of this event I believe this will need to tie into the start of the events for the booths as well.

I anticipate more information about these next week.

    Cheers,
    Kris
