A question about Cyrene Faction Rank 2 and more

Well, I am going to hit 500 badges today, as soon as my daily missions for something are available again.

I think I have posted something like this before, maybe not, I don't know.

I have become a Cyrene addict, kind of, I don't really understand the whole map update thing. I first came to Cyrene when the weapon Epic mission was mentioned a few times, and it was too damned big and not enough players, it was me and Hogfish, literally, most of the time for a few weeks. So I left for a couple of years and came back when I heard about the stolen armor, which by the way I love just cause it is green.

While I am hoping that the stage 2 UL weapon is discovered, I am really curious about stage 3, and also the other factions. Can we please have an update for these? I did read that stage 3 rewards have to be adjusted due to the shitstorm I was part of about the armor deal for stage 1, have you and MA worked any details out that us players are allowed to know yet?

How often do you talk to MA, or I guess text or email? How does all that work? Do you like doing business with MA? Who all runs Cyrene? I am asking a bunch of questions that have already probably been explained, but this may help for some new folks.

After I hit 900 badges, what happens? I am guessing that depends on other factions, but they haven't even been mentioned except for in passing, are they going to show up soon? By that, I mean are we going to see the other faction missions or choices come into play soon?

AND, before a whole bunch of flaming begins from other players, I just want some more activity on Cyreneforums.com and maybe some more info from Kris all in 1 thread.

No need for anyone to get angry and start trying to down other people, no need at all.

And for those that insist on making everyone angry, and having some sort of opinion about crap they know nothing about. I am 39 yrs old, have worked full time since I was 13 yrs old, have spent the last year of my life as a full time student due to my wife's persistence , and am going back to work after a month long vacation next month cause school if for the smart people and I can't stand it. I have never applied for, or accepted any type of government assistance, I can't stand democrats or republicans cause they are both full of S**t, look at Loretta Lynch and any recent votes. I own 60 acres of land I just had a building built on that I am spending the next month long vacation at with my wife, her mother, and my parents, and a few other random friends with.

So hey Kris, lol, can you please give us some updates?

 

Deo, I am thinking we probably won't be seeing any expansion in the way of the world getting physically bigger until after they go live, ie out of beta. That now, seems like it will probably be close to a year away. Last we heard, C team was at least 3 months from being there, at which point, they will need to let MA know they are ready and that will probably take another 3 months at least then we have to wait for the VU to make it happen, another 3.

Politics, ehh leave em outside, we are going to get drowned with that crap soon enough anyways outside of this world, no need to bring it into this one as well, and I am sure our friends across the pond don't want to hear the american drama and bullshit either.

As far as what is discussed between MA and Planet Partners. MA makes them keep very tight lipped about that. They really can't say a heck of a lot besides yes we do talk. They don't really want to piss off MA either after all, they just gave them what.. a million dollars for a planet? or however much one cost? Don't want MA to unofficially black ball you when they are holding your money not to mention possibly pull a tos / contract violation on you.

I plan on farming more, I have access to another 80 acres about 15 miles away. It just irked me in the last thread when you said the gimme, gimme crowd, I don't fit that at all, I am more of the "I'll feed you, but you need to start taking care of yourself sooner or later" crowd.

Anyways, Some good info on the Cyrene or Planet partners and MA relationship style. I really am hoping Kris has an update of some sort. Maybe even about the fap mission.

P.S.- oh, I don't really want the Cyrene map to be bigger, I kind of like it the way it is, maybe a little bigger, but Caly is too big, Ark is just about right, maybe a little smaller than Ark.

Hehe, had to do it, almost created a thread again, lol. Can we get a "shared loot" mob? Don't really want the over kill like other planets doing it every weekend. I am really not sure where to go with this plan, but maybe once in a while, like an hour long event, maybe half a day. Not looking to ath off of it, but just something fun to take away the monotony of badge collecting.

Or maybe something other planets haven't done yet? I can't really think of anything where you make money that other planets haven't done though. Thought like an Easter egg hunt or something, maybe a contest on who can find the deepest depth on Cyrene? or the highest mountain? or maybe just a level 500000000000000 Tide claw, lol.

On the other hand, I'm going away for a month in about a week, and would hate to miss an event on Cyrene, but it sounds fun. Do we have an event system on Cyrene? I never used the one on Caly, but might be fun on Cyrene, it's more of a tightly knitted group here, especially since the end of the armor debates. The new folks that come to Cyrene will probably stay here, or venture off and realize Cyrene is going to be more fun.

Oh, can we please get rid rid of all the extra NPC's standing around? It makes it look cool, but wow, there are a lot of em bastards that don't do anything.
