I was simply deceived, being told it doesnt drop anymore some of the parts, just so the people on the market would controll it.
Hiding a secret im fine with that, a lot do, deceiving others harming the economy overal here, doesnt seem a right thing to do.

You were one of the people i asked, you simply told me you didnt know, then i asked you went vague and ended up ignoring. At least if i recall correctly

for sure i did not tell u that i dont know the recipe, cuz i discovered it, and its easy to check on the EL.
ofc i didnt want to share the recipe with some1 that im speaking for the first time via pm.
about the boffins drop, i think i told u i dont know if its dropping - cuz i was not hunting for it at that time - it was dropping too less to be resonable to go after it.
I had this situation many times - after i looted something and got asked about what dropped it, then some1 have spent there some time, and got nothing. guess who was he blaming. me.
i still got few orders that i cant fullfil, cuz i dont have enough boffins.

I did not name people directly for this issue, what i exposed how i was handled was a sum of all it happened.
Didn't say it was you who said what but you came foward to speak. The boffin's wasn't you I believe who said they didnt drop, you just claimed to not know at all (can't be totally sure so its just assumption), from what i've seen and been getting to me, more mobs than Vlanwings drop them, but will only confirm once i get one myself or a trusted source can confirm me that.

Also I think OP should tell people how hard is to make this armour set (from getting the bps, crafting it, then improve) and that you can easilly pay more than double the value of the set with MU untill finishing it. Some people dont want to bother and spend few weeks (months) to make it on their owns and just buy it and some who think its easy will take the route to make their armor alone and get stuck on the way (not finding boffins) or overpay it. Sure, anyone can get stubborn and think: ''I can do it'', but make sure you know what you get into before starting :) It can be verry frustrating, trust me, I know. Just my advice.
Its an nice armour, good eco and the price for it isnt big.

P.S. Cyrene was (and still is) well known all over EU as a warm planet for newcomers (new players and existing ones), but dont come on planet self-conceited and expect people will fall at your feet with informations. Get to know people, be friendly, spend some time around and people will help you by their owns.

The problem with the info not being shared was not the problem here to start with, the problem is how the questions were answered, being called names, straight out lies etc. If it was said politely instead of going full on offensive about it, i wouldn't had problems with this at all...

What comes to making the armor set itself, most stuff is fast to get with friend atleast and in a way, it's best if you do the trip to improving the set yourself. We had a nice joyrney and had lots of fun on our way to craft the basic version first and then slowly improving it. And yes, it can get expensive loot the Boffin parts if unlucky or lack skills/gear hunt the mobs easily, good thing i love hunting Vlandwings.

    Thanks for the post
I think i mentioned partially and well by the ingredients / list of stuff you can see it can take a while.
Yet I did it mostly as I said, I got a bit tired of mockery of some people (not saying again who was or wasn't, its done is done).

You can indeed get stuck a while if you dont know exactly what you're looking for or where to turn because there's quite a lot to look for, the combines I got to give all credit to Thanatos, made it easy to acess at least on that.

Cyrene is for sure a great planet atm, the more I explore potentials more I like it and plan to stay and find more interesting "secrets".

Also would LOVE to thank the comunity, we've been getting an overwelming ammount of PM's because of this single post, and thanks to this also, we were short some boffins or info where to loot them, (I missed 5 parts, Elayne missed 3) and we contacted by people offering us the boffins for free, tho we rejected the kindness and payed what was fair, completing our set finally!

Made us VERY glad to complete one hell of a milestone, to go from 0 to the armor, quite fun also

did you add the cost of obtaining 750 cyrene tokens - which takes forever to get, just wondering

    Yes
there is another guide for ppl unware how to obtain the max a day i believe, takes a long time tho.

Counting the 750 token @ 1500% will give you a cost of 112,5 PED for 700 clicks, so ~ 17 pec / click on the BPs + materials

Or if you are patient enough doing the daily from materials you obtain will be far cheaper :)

all these parasites, wanting everything handed to them for free. WaaaHHH I don't want to have to work for something, I want it handed to me, like my welfare, and government cheese check, and WIC, and EBT and and and... gimme gimme.

On the tutorial, good job. One thing though, crafting the key cube takes 8 mission tokens per try, which you can get a limited amount each day. Maybe it's just me but I find that THAT blueprint is a real bitch, for being an easy print it sure seems to fail a lot more often than others do. Just throwing that out there so folks kind of know what might happen when they goto craft them.

Rusty you sure seem bent on portraying yourself as EU's robin hood, savior of the downtrodden and poor. Why don't you put your money where your mouth is and sell your stuff for TT, ie NO markup. THEN we may begin to believe you really want to 'help' people.

    Thanks for the reply,
On the personal comments i'll pass, there's enough of these and some people got upset enough already.
yes it is to mention it might be hard to get some sucesses out of it at start and specially at low skills / QR making it a pain and another hard part.

Yes, that i noticed with crafting the cubes, but also with everything else we had to craft. Since me and Paulo are both purely hunters we lack crafting skills almost totally, barely on SIB for the BE Pilot since all my craft skills are from tiny bit of repairing. But i still recommend to make it by yourself instead of just buying it, that is if you like doing stuff yourself like i do, it's lot more fun that way and actually feels like an achievement.

I do the same thing Elayne. Im still trying to get my 5 stupid medium power supplies to finish that mission. Every time I get 32 of the crap things to make one, I end up tanking the craft attempt :x but it's all fun.

Some of the daily crafting items are real boogers too. The shirt for some reason is a pain to make, and the one with the teeth can be a real raw eater as well.

I also find that crafting stations have a mind of their own. Yes there ARE good ones and bad ones, and they DO change around from day to day and Id venture to say through the day. If you are having bad luck at a crafting station, goto another TP and try the one there. You are probably not going to see 'good or bad' on 20 crafts but after a few hundred you should begin to get an idea if you are going to be treated nice or not.

Ive played with enough of the EP's to see this trend enough to believe there might be some validity to this statement.

Elayne also, DO THE MONRIA DAILY MISSION! If you are a crappy crafter, that mission is a godsent. Do an EP1 print for your 500 crafts. It's cheap to run generally, but the engineering skills you get, especially at the low level I believe you are will boost you a ton.

Also FWIW Ive also noticed that QR on a print does more to help your success than skilling does until you become very very skilled and are close to 90/95 anyways on the print.

Another benefit is that it will drop a lot of prints to 'fill in' your blank spots in your BP book. I also have a bunch I can give you as well to fill in your basic prints.

I typically run back and forth there to do those and back to cyrene. If you want, give me a holler in game and Id be happy to give you a free ride up there for that mission when I am going.

You got it all wrong. Cyrene is all about exploring and is created with that concept in mind.
If we get all the info served on the web would it be interesting to play? :HellNo:

lol ... I am the library in flesh and blood of this game, I absorb all the information that comes to my curious eyes ... and enjoy more having the certainty what I'm doing.
For the good of my young padawans, I must do, or not be the best mentor in my society.
Go away you and your dark, murky and opaque game to "explore" elsewhere. Thank you very much for your understanding :p
