More of a suggestion then a bug really, but can we have a counter that tells us how much time there is left before we can do a A.R.C Faction daily mission again?

Thanks Xens and Paul for the reply.

As I was not the first one to not understand the mission objective may I suggest the text of the mission be updated to clarify what is needed?

I did experience 1 other problem/bug related to missions. When I opened the dialog with a mission giver that I already had all the missions for and just closed the dialog without selecting a mission it abandoned all the missions from that source and removed them from my mission log. I was able to get the missions again but this has happened about 4 or 5 times now and in 2 instances I lost some minor progress on some missions. This could be a major pain for higher level missions.

    On a side note:
Being new to Cyrene I have had a few minor frustrations when it came time to turn in a few missions (one crafting one drove me nuts). The problem is that not all missions show a wp or clear description of where to turn them in and with so many it can take quite a bit of time to find the right mission giver.

Keep up the good work :)

    UPDATE:

New information on the LT Viewing mission, apparently it is doable after all, just a major pain to find the right spot.

(from chat, names changed as I didn't have permission to post them)

[#cyrene] [###]: mobs right here count
    [#cyrene] [###]: [134665, 76692, 135]
    [#cyrene] [###]: for lt's viewing
    [#cyrene] [###]: there was 2 here, which i killed.. (i'm now 8/10)
[#cyrene] [###]: the ones further in the temple don't count :(

[#cyrene] [%%%]: if you drag them back to this spot it still counts?
    [#cyrene] [###]: yes

It seem to work within about 40-50m from that wp, just very hard to drag the mobs to the right place. Also it seems that L22+ mobs is a bit high for a noob mission.

    Hope this helps somebody else.

Wed, great idea however I think that is a MA thing, they would control mission timers and it would have to be something encoded into the platform. But yes, would help a lot when you are like, ok did I finish it at 9 last night or 8? type thing.

Possible arret pet bug: on the passive effect info it says my unlock status is 0.0%, but my pet is already well on its training. I have seen screenies of another pet somewhere where the percentage was shown (I imagine properly), so this needs checking pls (although I am not near lvl 14 for the buff, other people may be).

On an overall note I would like to both give praise but also complain. Aside from whatever stolen armour solution we get, I can see that progress is being made, but some of the errors in typing, naming etc are what I would call in English sloppy and shoddy!

Of course you are not alone in being sloppy, as the new popup menus have various problems that make things look really amateur (and that is a platform problem, yes), but the results are becoming laughable. These are the errors we can palinly see.... what trust are we to have that anything in the workings behind the scenes is also correct? (did you see my typo.. I did.. it was genuine, but I'm leaving it in...)

However, I hope it is a good sign to you that I am actually ON CYRENE at the moment, so you are doing some things right, and I hope you continue to do so!

    Same here.
I would like to point that craft 5 Light power cells with the current drop rate of Low grade power supply will become the crafting merfolken spearman mission (not worth doing it for 1 badge).

It probably simply didn't occur to them that not everybody is familiar with Nordic mythology. Neither did it to me, to be honest, before I saw more than one question about it in the various forums. Fenris = wolf was firmly stored in memory. But thou shalt not assume, so yes it is quite in order to clarify this for the rest of the world. However, it's only the title. Is it not written in the mission log precisely which mob to target?

    Hey guys,

sluggo hits the nail on the head here, but I believe that the timer to reset the mission starts when you complete the mission, if that helps, but it's something we'd like as well.

Also tweaked LT's viewing mission to be more simple and easier to complete after the Mini Patch.

    Cheers,
    Kris

Future generations of Cyreneies will thank you. :)

That only leaves the Hackfin problem, any thoughts on this one?

Not entirely a bug but. Jellyworms, can we expand out the area to kill them a bit. If you go over by the tree where they hang out at, and go on one side, it doesn't count for the mission, go on the other it does. Yes I know, trivial issue but since they inhabit that entire area, why not make the entire area count for the mission on them?

    Thank you

    Hey guys,

I have adjusted the area boxes of that mission for the Mini Patch, we'll see how it shakes out.

I wouldn't say trivial, but this will not be able to be adjusted for the Mini Patch, but we won't rule it out for the future.

    Cheers,
    Kris

NIght time is still terrible by panelions. You can not really make out anything except their flame.
Until they get this night time 'issue' fixed, can't you somehow NOT do day and night, it serves no purpose really, just leave it daytime so we can see?

@sluggo try adjusting gamma and/or using 'next target' from action library.

It seems as though some of the new weapons have a cost of about 3 pec/damage, rather than 3 dmg/pec (more or less).

I looted an Ozpyn BPX - P2 (L), and looked at the stats. did some quick math in my head, and noticed that ammo was around 3 times the damage.
Quite stupidly, I did not grasp that it should be around 1/3 of the damage.

I used the gun, for a bit today to have a little fun and try to get it to Tier 1.
After getting there, I checked my ammo and was quite a bit (~70 ped) short.
(I find it even funnier that someone else had beaten me to Tier 1. Hopefully it didn't cost them as much to do so:) )

Will these be adjusted in the mini patch, or is this the be the eco?

bah, I'm so pissed with myself.
I even had tried to enter it into entropedia to check the eco prior to using it, but there was a glitch preventing me from doing so.
Anyhoo - good luck and have fun

edit: at least it was a small gun I messed around with, and not a bigger one. that would have been very costly :)

edit 2: I should know better, and for me it was simply an "oh, **** me" moment. (choose your own fun word there, many will work. I said most of them then).

However, if this gun were to come into the hands of an inexperienced player, it could cause much damage.

The pet skill unlock problem I had seems to be that each individual pet must be spawned seperately with you while you do stuff to unlock the passive skill buffs (it still needs to get to the right level as well of course).
If you added it to your list of things to look at Kris, I now consider this to be a silly undocumented feature of pets and not actually a bug..... ty

    Hey jetsina,

We don't handle any of the pet system directly here, but I can still look into and see what's going on.

    Cheers,

I have terrible lag since last VU. It's ok on Caly and Arkadia, but as soon as I come home I can barely hunt.

I have checked my connection a few times, everything is fine, everything else works perfectly.
