Solo hunting event

    On Calypso we have Merry Mayhem each year around xmas. Each year we hear people expressing their intrest for a solo event of similar nature but each year nothing happens.

    Perhaps we could have a hunting event on Cyrene that makes use of missions as well as instances/dungeons to create a solo hunting event of that nature.

    Different categories. Different prizes. Doesn't have to be at xmas but could be set for a more suitable time for Cyrene. Could even have different rules and a storyline aspect that would make it even more appealing.

    Competitions for solo players is severely lacking. Before it was not possible to make it solo due to the nature of the game but now with instances it should in theory be possible.

    Yes, MM is created by Calypso and is for Calypsians only - but I totally agree that a yearly Cyrene event like this would be a totally cool idea!

    Let's brainstorm further about how this could happen - and how we could make it as attractive for all types of players as possible.

    You might want to think about using the instance system in a way to make ppl solo through a certain map with periodical respawns but with no teams allowed. This way we would have a solo hunting event with accurate time measurement. Don't know if the instance system can handle that many users though.

    The instance system would allow for an accurate level spawn for each participant.

    Call it "trial of combat", "the path of the warrior" or whatever :)

    A solo hunting event on Cyrene similar to MM would be a big draw card for players. I agree!
