Mang Chang Iron

Just some Infos about Mang-Chang Iron:

Stages: 100, 250, 500, 1000, 5000, 9000 (not sure about the 250, but i think there was)

Rewards: all Stamina Tokens. 954 Total

Combineable in Parts with the epic Chain part 1 - Stage 2 (500 Mang chang).

Ped turnover: ~ 120 K ped total (did alot as no Youngs were around)

 

Thanks for the info. Is it 100 stamina tokens per point of stamina? And 9.25 stamina per HP?

If I'm correct the rewards could probably use some adjusting as 120k ped turnover for 1 HP is kinda crummy.

yes, gave 9.5 Points of Stamina... usually thats 10 full iron missions at caly... i think way better. For me it was only to Close the gap to all Players that started with 9 Stamina

But if u see it the way of HP... yes... even at 90 % return 1 HP isnt worth the 12 K ped TT-loss.

 

but which mission was worth doing cuz of its pure reward if u look at ur loses along? hard to find one

 

I agree thantos, BUT.... Sometimes skill rewards are nice for breaching the massive skill compression just before an unlock, or bumping yourself up to that nice weapon/fap. Etc.

Problem I'm seeing here is a lack of value in the reward. As Jeanni stated. 90% return rate means 12 k ped loss. You can chip in the extra HP for a lot less and instead do a different grind for something more valuable.

The whole point in iron missions is to promote grinding. Making yourself appear to be a pre-gold player really isn't worth the grind IMO. Especially when there are so many other missions to choose from on Cyrene.

A special (L) bp that someone could sell for 500 ped would sweeten the pot considerably along side the stamina. Or spawn some puny mobs or something.

some ppl gonna like 9 stamina reward, and will make this mission gladly - its not a must here, u dont have to. i like this reward, i will go after it.

 

I don't think there was a 250 stage.

Stages 1 (100), 2 (500) and 3 (1000) give 95 Stamina tokens alltogether. Stage 4 (5000) gives 304 Stamina tokens. Currently doing Stage 5.

It was interesting to hunt them, as there was an opportunity to loot some Ranked weapons. It seems a bit different now.

I haven't obtained Ozpyn weapons yet. But I don't hunt Mang Chang very often now.

 

Isn't there a skill reward also for the 9k? cyrenesecrets.com says you can also choose from EPWT, SWS and PWT. If so, any idea what the amount was?

 

all rewards are Stamina Points... nothing else if i remeber right... but that might have changed meantime. Kris, can u confirm ?
