    so we have a button to like a post. what about one to dislike a post?

    i can see it being a problem with people ganging up and dislike spaming people. but it would be a nice - karma troll tracker.

    i realize i would have a few dislikes by now:) but what does everyone else think?

    In general I don't mind the idea of a dislike button, though I can already see how it would actually be used.

    yeah it kinda sucks i can see it being misused also. but i kinda like the idea i dont mind being held accountable for the sillly crap i ramble about sometimes :).

    It may be abused for the first while.... eventually though there'll be so many people on the forums that a few abusers won't affect it at all. On another forum I am constantly having a certain SOC -REP me as much as they possibly can... yet my REP points keep getting higher because a handful of negative individuals are a far cry from the thousands that love Menace. :)

    I basically don't like rep systems whatsoever, because there are too many who would abuse them, and for no "real" reason at all. I would vote against something like this.

    just being contrary ;) but i think disliking a person and/or what they are saying is a real reason. i get where you are coming from people would use it just to troll and someone could get caught in a bad way and it would make them look bad when the truth is the opposite.

    but with the current system someone like me that just likes to talk and says dumb things pretty often can get a lot of likes just by being here for awhile :).

    so some way to balance it would be nice because giving someone a bunch of likes and making it seem like they are an upstanding citizen is just as bad as the other way around.
