Obsidian's Weed Smokin' Party!

Obsidian Society is pleased to announce a fun event for the bored! Tomorrow at 11 pm MA time we're gonna grab some rockets and try to clear out the ENTIRE Mature Dire Weed spawn! Yeah that's right.... we're smokin' weed......s! Anyone is welcome to attend! We'll have some beginner rocket launchers for you wonderful noobs out there... (We love noobs). We should also have some low TT Rv-50s we can fix yas up with as well. We're gonna try to hook some of you's up with some small prizes and spam global chat while we loot 20-30-40- or maybe more Mature Dire Weeds AT ONE TIME!

All we ask is that people don't bring a rocket launcher any larger than the Rv-50.... Otherwise I grab ya by the ear and drag ya into PVP to show ya what a REAL rocket does!

Should be a good time.... some good laughs... and hey... maybe even profitable!

I will be doing a run of RV-50's tonight on Cyrene and whatever comes out low TT will be in the "prize pool". Menace will be bringing the Skilldek Lanceheads for the newest players.

If you really want to party it up with us for an extended period, I should have some higher TT RV-50's for sale as well.

Let's have a fun community event (with community being the key word).

If anyone wants to video this, we'd love to see what the carnage looks like from a non-shooters perspective.

 

There's no real time limit Chris. You can join us for 20 min... or you can join us until whenever we decide to finish up.

Was crafting weapons for the event and this popped up!

 

Even though I got that HoF, I was unable to make many launchers for the event. Good news though. I have bought another bp and will be nice and stocked up by the time this event starts.

Where'd the loot go?


Any ideas what happend Cyrene Staff? I mean... we LITERALLY broke the loot. After a break and moving 25 meters we started getting loot again... but... we had 44 no-loots in a row.

Yea that was it when I seen that I was done, I don't expect to profit but lol 50 no loots in a row is nuts

 

big Fail 10min event, then gave dire weeds no more loot.



But the 10 minutes were fun

 

This was fun, and Menace and I as well as the rest of Obsidian will do events on Cyrene in the future. But we would like to see the Cyrene staff look in to the broken loot we made happen. Literally over 100 no loots in a row.

 

Skulls EVERYWHERE!
No Loot issue set aside it was SUPER FUN! And even with small rockets we seemed to be able to really put a dent into one of the best spawns in the Entropia Universe! We had FUN! We set a UNIVERSE WIDE RECORD for most consecutive no loots! And we have MORE FUN!

Thanks to all that came out! I hope the beginners got some descent skills (This is one of the old school skilling methods by the way... rockets and heavy spawns of low lvl mobs). And I hope the veterans will join us again down the road.... Next hunt we will search out the elusive HoF!

Def a great time guys thank you again for the event it was a BLAST!

 

We're starting to plan something for next weekend. Gotta be a bit more organized. We had to get some materials from Calypso to craft rocket launchers and due to RL schedules we were pushing our time limits getting warp flights and what not. We'll keep ya's posted when we think of something fun for all!
