Not really true - CDF amps (combat token vendor) on Caly are camped.

 

It's not only that they're reselling molds at a premium, by some coincidence a socmate of that guy is also an armor crafter, so they're also reducing competition.

Now that i think of it... is there any point in seven different molds existing? If they were merged into one 'A.R.C. Armor Mold', good for any part, the stock would be somewhat harder to deplete.

 

The "Deserter" on Calypso, the one that sells the unlimited vehicles for combat tokens, is well stocked now. I don't know how many people complained about the camping and racketeering, but one day I wrote a polite support ticket with a thorough explanation why allowing this to happen is so corrosive and causing outright hatred in the community and that I would prefer to spend my money the way it was intended. It got better almost immediately afterwards.

I honestly don't understand this thing with the item stock depending on the loot system. Why put it in a vendor then instead of dropping it with loot? It is exchanged for tokens, which are already earned by cycling funds through the game. If this is to make sense, I don't get it.

 

A sense of realism... which I find quite okay. I think reducing it to one symbolic part is a clobbered solution which attacks a symptom, not the root cause. You could then use tokens in the blueprints directly, as is already done elsewhere.

 

That is BS and non sense. I have a statement from MA support, that refill frequency, and stock availability depends on the planet partner it self.

Type in search bar "mindark kris" and you will see 9 pages of excuses.

 

About Lazidol, did you set up all parts ?
You can know if an item is or is not in the loot pool ?

It will be fair if you can say us what work or what dont work. Actually we spend money for your planet for nothing it seems.
I dont want a hight drop rate, but a chance to get the item promise. Actually, chance is 0%, not fair

 

If there are conflicting statements from two official sources then somebody or something is wrong. Until we find out what the heck it really is that prevents stocking the vendors and what it takes to fix it, this issue will come back like a bad penny. It enrages players and hurts the PP's reputation. Should we get the new community liaison involved or is he only there for things related to Calypso?

Perhaps you can ask for an official statement from MA?
You as a PP are utilizing their platform and have all the rights to demand at least some information.

 

What works on other planets does not work on Cyrene...

 

I agree.
I discover Arkadia today. Smuggler mission and IFN are nice.
Its more fast to get clothes there.
Smuggler items are really nice and its a good challenge to try to get these items ! Not like Cyrene where you work for missing or bugged items ...
IFN mission is good too, 350 days and i can have the Dropship ! Not like Cyrene where you do the 1200 ARC badges mission for nothing ...

 

Hey Kris,

May I ask you about the Boffin Upgrade Parts drop frequency. I am hunting daily on regular basis but haven't got a single piece since 3 weeks.
I used to get average a few pieces per month in the past.
Just curious what could be the reason for that.

Oh well... then maybe something happened with my "luck" ...

 

In fact, they give 2 or 3 parts per week. Then you need around 3/4 weeks for make an armor.
I think, nice stuff should not be easy to get. That kill MU and there is no challenge.

For me the drop rate is good. If people come and get fast what they need, they will not spend more time in the planet.

 

Yeah, maybe. Who knows ...

 

If i find alot part, its maybe because i am alone to hunt them ? And when i said i hunt, its not 3 kills per 3kills...
During summer all hunters are on Caly, check other month, more players found these parts because they are on Cyrene.

 

I am going to focus on my main tasks.
