    Introduction:
Turrelion Docks bring a new set of Turrelions with them: the Mazeweavers. While not much is known about them, one thing is for sure: they do not trust the other Turrelions that run the Arena but are very cagey about exactly why.
What kind of a name is Mazeweaver anyways? These Turrelions actually have warped in a Maze to Cyrene, as non-lethal test of the human spirit. Take the teleporter to the Desert Ruins and you can see the Mazeweavers daily challenges.

The maze is a combination of a lot of familiar things that already happen on Cyrene. Designed for players of all skill levels, you can earn Mazeweaver Certificates from the following daily missions:

    - Race through the Maze (timed).
    - Destroy Turrelion Vlanwings.
    - Find and Kill Vlad the Unraveler.
    - Find the hidden item.

So now, why would you even want to gather up any Mazeweaver Certificates? The Mazeweavers have smuggled a cross world pet: The WolperTinger! For every 200 Mazeweaver Certificates you collect can be used to summon a special WolperTinger that you'll have a chance to tame. We really have some cool new stuff Dynamic Unlocks coming soon to Planet Cyrene.

    Location:
The Turrelion Maze mission starts at the new Turrelion docks location [138891, 76894, 100]

The maze is located at Desert Ruins Teleporter [136333, 80357, 110]

    Tutorial:
Go to the Turrelion Dock [138866, 76864, 100] and speak with the Turrelion to trade 50000 Shrapnel for a Maze Hammer worth 5 ped (You lose no TT value). The hammer is needed for all missions and gives a 10% speed boost.
    [IMG] [IMG]

Go to [138848, 76901, 100] on the docks to activate the collection mission
    [IMG]

After talking to the Turrelions pictured above you can collect daily missions from their associates at [136371, 80352, 110]
    upload_2015-9-22_18-27-58.png

Be sure to grab the correct collection mission given to you by the Turrelion at the docks or you will have to log out and back in to grab the mission.

Here is a map I have constructed of the maze, it is to scale and accurate.

    1. Burrow
    2. Restless Bones
    3. Lost Mining Equipment (Find the tool)
    4. Vlad the Unraveler (spawns every 5 minutes)

The end of the maze is now marked on the ground and easier to see.

    Reward:
Each mission rewards with 1 Mazeweaver Certificate, except reaching the end of the maze, it can reward between 0-3 certificates depending on the time it takes you to clear the maze.

These certificates can be exchanged for the chance to tame a rare pet.

Consider me the maze runner :p

The maze may be changing in future updates if members enjoy the idea. I hope so. If so expect future maps!

Good and informative tutorial, since only prize is pets, there's nothing for me to do there.

    Great tutorial!

What are this creature's vital stats, i.e. what size should your whip have to tame it?

I can weigh in on this a bit:

If you can tame an Arret, you can tame a WolperTinger.

    Cheers,
    Kris

a bit half offtopic: Prize exchange for rewards should have alternatives, I'm a proud pet virgin and I like new content, but felt excluded from this update, what about give some skills, like 5k tokens 1 stamina point?

I am sure alternatives will arise but knowing that they will, will only help get more people doing this mission.

Rusty,, double check your maze map,, when you come away from Burrow (item 1),, you make a left.. act like your heading for the Tool (Item 3). on your map it is the second left turn. when you make that turn,, there are a couple extra corners immediately that don't show on your map it causes a bit of confusion in trying to keep your bearings on where you are. Think a little fine tuning is in order . :p

    Great job btw... Thanks.

It simplifies it rather than having odd corners and meeting places, it should be extremely simple follow it even like that. The original map wasn't going to be scale at all so this is much better as is :p

Should probably be in a suggestions section but I just wanted to bump this thread so players can find it.

Could you add more levels to the maze? More difficult daily missions that would award with certificates or even something else. Like a 2nd floor or maze basement...or

    one can hope ehh? :)

And following TunerS line of thought, what if the daily find missions were static instead of fixed.. every time you enter the maze they would be in a different spot and you would actually have to hunt for them. It would keep the maze more interesting and alleviate some of the boredom of doing the same thing over and over and over.

    Just a thought.

    Hey guys,

This is already planned provided that players like the idea of the maze and want more complexity within it. This first iteration of the maze was intentionally simple.

Hmm, there might be a good way to randomize the objectives and have several spots for the objectives to spawn, however I don't know if it's possible to have quest objectives randomly spawn around. It's something that we can look into for the future.

    Cheers,
    Kris

I think the maze finish might not be registering properly... or maybe it's just me?

Edit: Was supposed to have a screenshot attached of me standing on the big X, with the mission up in my log, not completed. For some reason the screenshot was blank, so I deleted it from the post. Either way, completion is not registering for me.

Try jumping around a bit near the finish mark? completed fine for me so far.
(and maybe try to get a screenshot again so we can see if something is off).

It doesn't complete if you missed all the times. Happened to me when i got lost once. If this happens, abandon the mission and re-acquire at the mission broker after 24hrs.
