Hi, I'm a new player on Cyrene (questions on ARC tokens)

Hi,

I'm a new player on Cyrene. I will be coming this week-end (no way I'm another event on Calypso)!!!.

I'm planning to stay for 1-2 months. I figure that will be the time needed to collect the tokens for the Nice armor Initiate!

I use mostly the weapons or armors that I have looted myself (excluding sight and amp).
So my range of hunting is based on that or based on the amount of decay my armor can take

I have come on Cyrene 1 or 2 times maybe one year ago....

Do you have any suggestions where to start for the ARC tokens?

And which loots, mat components, are interesting to crafts? Please don't mention bp explosive..... so f**** tired of that.

I cycle easily 1k peds per day of ammo.

Strenght 62
Intelligence 60
Psyche 60
HP 176

Main Prof Level:
BLP 63
Pyro 49
Evade 39

 

for the armor missions you need to go to Tans'Ta'Oh and head east, there are 5 terminals, 1 daily and then 4 ranging from low level through to high level. at this moment, the merfolken & zyn dailies arn't worth doing due to spawn rates, if you can do the full range of once only missions and then 3 badges/day from the dailies it will take you just over a month to complete

Thank you for the advice.
I have use extensively the maps for tp and mobs! Nice work on this!
I done what you suggested and take only the 3 first dailys (Old Paneleon, Mutated Dire Weed and Devastator Sea Wraith). Got 2 small globals on Paneleon so nice start
Liked the Sea wraith too, got one mini on a Majestic Sea Wraith!

On the ''One Time Mission'', completed:
- Belly Jelliworm. (Started on Boiling Jellyworm and realized after 5 that the counter was not adding them to the total.... realized it was wrong mob...oppps)
- Armored Whisker Fisk. Ok, My first complaint for Cyrene on the sea design or the sea visibility..... Really need to improve this. I was getting a headache after 5 mobs. And why Sea is so deep!!! want to implement Deep Sea mining??
- Panaleon (24 kills).

So going for the 200 tokens will take some time :_) but fun so far.

 

glad your already making progress, yeah the underwater hunting is really bad, just done the 500 skreels epic mission, and i had no idea which way was up or down. The devs are looking at this, hopfully next update.
Paneleons are good mobs to hunt, especially if you loot a X2 or X3 Rifle

depending if you have already taken it, there is a dire weed and sea wraith iron mission which you will be able to earn towards while you earn tokens, plus there is a daily paneleon kill point mission

 

Yep the tokens will take a bit. and Wow. nice to see another BLP person. For some reason most want to do laser.
I can help you with general stuff but things up in your skill level as hunting goes, Id know not much about

Look around at other places too. There are a lot of daily missions that can help you advance as well and many of them stack on each other. The drill bots come to mind.

Cyrenesecrets.com is the most reliable and trustworthy source of info to date. It's a really decent source of info that doesn't have an agenda attached to it.

One thing to keep in mind though, this planet is on the verge of explosive growth and has the potential of changing wildly in the future. With that, expect major renovations as they roll out the entire thing over time and get ready for a crazy ride!!

Hello, Is there a difference between dire plant and dire weed? I can't find Mutilated dire weed but found Mutilated dire plant.

 

not really, some dont count on some missions tho. the ones your looking for are mutated ones, they're purple. there is some on an island south of mer beach

So i went to the island south of Mer beach and still my mission did not advance. Is there a timer on this mission? Maybe I should have made the kills during a certain time period? Anyway I'm taking a break on Caly for now....

 

was this for pict's pollen daily? if so its a different location, if you track the mission it will add a waypoint. It not a great spawn due to the number of massive weeds (they wont atk unless you shoot them or sit on them)

 

There is an advantage to this. The mob is very slow, so that you can shoot it while pulling back without getting eaten. But this doesn't work if you break through the water surface underway. The mob reaches you before you can re-adjust. In shallower water you can do it if you watch very carefully that you always move horizontally, but it's stressful to maintain this over many mobs or you easily get into the next one's aggro range. At the depth found there you need not worry about it at all. And visibility can be improved by tweaking the gamma setting. I had no problems last time I was there and pretty much enjoyed it the way it is.

I would stay away from the ARC scam faction.
Basically you trow a bag of cash to gain access to empty vendors.
