i m on the spot, no one is able to kill lvl 45 or 55 , and the lvl 35 are all dead

Are you able to kill all mobs on Cyrene? No. So why do you think you should be able to kill all event mobs?

i kill most mobs on each planet, and i kill all other planet event mobs!!!!

 

Oh, I get it now, you're insane.

 

Get a decay faper. Kenji and fifiv seem to be around and available. They get the skills - and maybe a tip if you feel like it - and your decay and ammo cost per mob will be less since it won't get to regenerate while you fap.

It's a win - win for events like this, allowing lower level players to get their fair chance.

P.S. 35's respawn but usually up in the mountain. Choice of area was poor, with too much lag and hard to tag mobs.

 

i have an healer, and like you say this place is a very bad choice, some mobs are blocked and, even if the mob aren t very agressive, it s dangerous to stay near biggest mob to fight the lvl 35 who are rare
see the last event in caly, each mob lvl have now a different zone, in instance like mayhem or without instances , like the mulmun

When I was a lower skilled player, I was disappointed every time there was an event where I couldn't compete because I wasn't strong enough to kill the mobs.

That was one of the key things that inspired me to work hard, hunt for hours every day, make regular deposits and work my way up to a higher level. Now I can hunt in events like this one.

Having some motivation to reach higher skill levels is an essential part of EU. Without it there would be no EU. If everyone could do everything without there being any relevance to, or reward for, having good skills, there wouldn't be anything for any of you to do.

Pandering to the vocal minority instead of realising this fundamental point is one of the major problems that EU, and particularly Calypso, has had in recent years. If the Cyrene team have recognised this, all credit to them.

If you want to be able to hunt higher level mobs, the best thing you can do is stop fuming on forums and instead spend your time working on your skills. Maybe today you can't kill these mobs, but if you apply yourself and commit to improving your avatar then perhaps when there's a similar event next year, or the year after, you'll be able to join in and perhaps reap the rewards of being able to do so.

If you are a seasoned Year 1 Cyrene Player (May 2012-May 2013) by now you should be able to hunt this mob ok (at least level 35 and level 45) - the devs have made it possible with all the skill missions and daily romps you should be up to this level by now. Armor for these mobs unfortunately i have to admit only Force Oxpyn (the rest have to be imported im afraid) but i think thats a problem Cyrene has with Mindark, im sure there was more armors to drop but MA stuffed the loot balance here, until that gets fixed you have to import your armor. But I Believe personally this will not be fixed until the full launch of Cyrene this year.

If you are a Year 2 Cyrene Player (May 2013-May 2014) the first event (Crystal Pede Rift) was for you, in a group with fapper you might be able to handle these mobs , but i dont recommend a Year 2 player doing this event - maybe next year.

I understand the devs now after looking at the whole scheme of things and why there are no higher level , higher hp event mobs - Cyrene is only 2 years old , they meant to be catering for there player base first always and the immigrants or visitors second. We probably see harder events (maybe 3 events in Year 3) One for the third year players, second year players and first. The full launch will be interesting.

I came to try my hand at the event, and even with a healer, I simply don't stand a chance against the mobs at the event. The only thing i can think of that would make them doable for the vast majority of players is "Shared Loot". That would get more people involved and spread some of the damage around so that We can last longer.

 

When I found out about the Zeladoth event, I was pretty excited because I remembered getting a near 200 PED global from the last event with the pedes. Well, I must admit that feel pretty darn defeated after beating a few lvl 35s and only one lvl 45 before quitting. Prior to the start of the event, I snagged some Perseus Armor and equipped them with 5B plates, but I kind of regret doing so because my harness is already near dead from the brutal beatings from earlier (fortunately the set + plates were a big help). Again, I feel defeated because the lvl 35s alone were way too strong. Fortunately, I did managed to snag some pants during the chaos.

Oleg said it best imo. EU is not only about "what i can do right now" but also "what i want to be able to do tomorrow".

3 players from our soc (Task Force) were participating in this event and we could all kill all mobs. lvl 55 Stellars were a little hard for me, because my skills need improving. I know that and i'm working on that.

2 of us didn't use fapper, 1 used. What do u think which one of us got the 1k+ Stellar HoF yesterday?

 

Does Angel 5b work on the mobs? Well guess i know tonight

 

will be ok, but better grab pulsar plates burn+cut for angel.

 

Should I bother with shogun and 5b?

 

those level 35 got about 100dmg split between cut burn and impact. shogun 5b gives about 40-50 save there, so u could try with fapper, but it will be hard anyway. also u gonna get criticals about 150+ so better try other setup

 

not true... i do L55´s solo... get armor, get a gun, and start skilling... thats the secret. and till u are strong enough, a fapper does the trick too

 

Do the Event Zeladoth have a chance to drop the Weapons Mentioned in the Update Notes a little while back or will that be later on in further Events / Missions?
