Can anyone confirm the approximate percentage of damage type for a few mobs?
I might have plates to hunt some of them and it might help+interest others to hunt them too.
PS. Sources I looked at: entropedia, +cyrene secrets, +searched these forums.

Great Sea Beast Lazidol - Pen +Cold +Acid (percentages needed)
Hackfin - Stab +Cut (percentages needed)
Protocore - Pen +Burn (percentages needed)
Scout Bot Pen, +Electric (percentages needed)
Skreel Cut, +Impact, +Electric (percentages needed)
Skyshatter Robot - Impact +Burn (percentages needed)
Tree Dragon - Stab +Cut (percentages needed)
    Venataur - ???
Vlanwing - Stab +Cut (percentages needed)
    Zyn'Dos - Cut +Impact (percentages needed)

    Whisker Fish _
    - @Melee:Cut = 100%
    - @Range:Impact +Pen = (percentages needed)

(Guessed at melee and range dmg types as sites/forum posts didn't specify)

    -----

    Mobs Resolved:
Nimet 100% Electric AoE damage (Suggest team hunt them like Golems)
Sky Wraith 50% Impact, 50% Acid

    -----

I started this thread to hopefully clear up the confusion about damage types of some mobs and maybe the percentage of damage from players with the correct combo of plates and/or much more experienced in calculating it, or possibly already know/have it. And also for the chance it could be interest more players to consider hunting on Cyrene.
Yes I will post my sheets to this forum after getting most mob damage type Percentages nailed down.

There's an old yet detailed post for anyone curious on how to figure out damage type and the percentage of damage. It's a good read and shows how some learned by trial and error. http://cyreneforum.com/threads/creature-humanoid-damage-test-cyrene-edition.1333/#post-10101

    Also which is correct?
And please add damage type percentages (when applicable)

Golem _ (AoE damage - recommended min-5ppl team melee)
    - @Melee:Cut +Cold (percentages needed)
    - @Range:Burn +Acid (percentages needed)
    - OR pen / burn / shrapnel (percentages needed)

    Jellyworm_
    - entropedia = 10% Electric and 0 Acid (other dmg types are same)
    - OR cyrene secrets = 0 Electric and 10% Acid (other dmg types are same)

    MuckJaw_
    - entropedia = 33% Impact and 0 Pen (other dmg types are same)
    - OR cyrene secrets = 0 Impact and 33% Pen (other dmg types are same)

    Rhino Beetle_
    - entropedia = 40% Stab, 20% Cut, 40% Impact
    - OR cyrene secrets = Cut, +Impact (percentages needed)

    Rhyncho Bird_
    - entropedia = 50% Impact, 50% Pen
    - OR cyrene secrets = 100% Impact

    Sea Wraith _
    - entropedia = 20% Impact, 80% Electric
    - OR cyrene secrets = Cut, +Acid, +Electric (percentages needed)

(Guessed at melee and range dmg types as sites/forum posts didn't specify)

I know it's a lot of info I'm asking about, but anything is better then missing/incorrect info.
There's 23 other mobs with undisputed damage types.
Also, I'll update these first 2 posts with correct info so others have quick access and more time for hunting. :D

You can test whether the exotic damage types (like electric, acid, cold) are 100% by wearing armor that does not protect that type of damage, but does for the all standard types.
If the armor decay is 0 then the mob is doing 100% of it.

I can confirm for Scout Bot and Skreel the Cyrene Secrets info is more accurate.

Nimets (cut / stab / shrapnel) and Golems (pen / burn / shrapnel) has shrapnel like AOE dmg.

I can confirm about AOE, cuz I helped few friends just by staying there to absorb dmg.
Cut and stab is the most common for melee, so I suppose is correct.

Ty for confirming Scout Bot and Skreel.
Just need percentages, mostly for skreel and Scout Bot 779 +maybe Soldier 3.

As for me, well I've mostly hunted without armor when possible for skills + self-healing skills. Anyways only have a few sets of low end armor and a few sets of different plates, but not the combos to test for many of the different damage types. However I do plan to attempt some proof of concept testing when possible.

    With Krasko's information:
    * Nimet damage type in question +need percentages. No previous info on websites or forum.
    * Golem damage type in question +need percentages. Previous info from CyreneSecrets & Forum.
PS. Golem doing AoE damage is well established for both range and melee.

Also I cleaned up, changed, and clarified the top 2 posts.

    This one looks correct.
When hunting olds (50 hp average dmg) with stolen armor (26 imp /25 acid).
I get 2-3 hp dmg hits, so i assume 50/50 and dmg type are correct.

Are you sure? This combination is actually typical for Living Vortex. When I went for Nimets I ended up using Adj. Pixie & 4c and found it convenient, while A.R.C. Ranger with the same plates overprotected. If I'm not totally lost, there must be electric. Or did something change recently?

i'm sure electric is there, using unplated scout armor gives ok protection against puny/weak. i guess i'll try with 4c plates and check decay as they are impact and electric

2 Things I am sure is that they have shrapnel and not 100% electric.

Just done some tests on Nimet

Silverstitch No Decay but the 4C Plates did
    Meaning:
    • Penetration X
    • Impact X
    • Burn X
    • Cut X
    • Electric ✔
Knowing this I stuck the 4C plates on my Adj Vigilante
Again the 4C decayed, the vigi didn't. So this allowed me to confirm

    • Penetration X
    • Impact X
    • Burn X
    • Cut X
    • Stab X
    • Shrapnel X
    • Electric ✔
Finally I moved the plates to my Viceroy to check Acid & Cold. Again no viceroy decay

So if all is correct I can confirm

    • Penetration X
    • Impact X
    • Burn X
    • Cut X
    • Stab X
    • Shrapnel X
    • Acid X
    • Cold X
    • Electric ✔
    100% Electric.

Standing next to my vtol, my VTOL can confirm AOE Damage

EDIT: Double checked with Adj Vigi and 4C on Soldier Nimet, Same result. still 100% Electric

That sounds good to me thanks.

As for Nimets I'll take a guess Thantos forgot them when he made Cyrene Secrets???
Also Entropedia Nimet maturities are missing most info, otherwise very little (nothing) on them.

Execpt this posting which I think the 100% electric got started on PCF.
But more importantly they say Nimets do AoE damage... first I heard of it for Nimets.

And many thanks to Paul for all the work confirming Nimet damage type and AOE

It only just occurred to me (because of AoE) that Nimets might be like golem???
A Ranged damage type while walking back while shooting them.
And a melee damage type when up close swinging the ol' sword.

The Nimets and Venotaur are fairly new mobs, added after Cyrene secrets went into hibination

Nimets are Melee only, I'm gonna just double check for shrapnel on the highest lvl maturity (DONE, edited original post)

Some good info and good work Paul thank you again.

Tonight I'll figure the damage for all maturities, as its the only cyrene mob missing that on Entropedia.
Just double checked and someone entered 38 damage for Weak Nimet :)

Oh oh... just realized Venataur isn't on entropedia or my list either. xD

Searches have turned up nothing on Venataur damage types
Looks like 7 maturities: Thief, Rogue, Adept, Worker, Gatherer, Patron, Scavenger

    :

Yea there is a mission for it too, regarding damage I can't pin it down as I don't have the best choice (I can't separate Imp & Cut) but my test I could rule out Penetration and Burn, its unlikely Cold or Acid. When I played with armor with and without plates, I suspect Electric is in there, but stolen with 5B stopped like 90% of the damage, so Impact, Cut or Stab in definitely involved, because of this I couldn't rule on shrapnel damage at all. BTW its not AOE

    Venataur
    Adept L15, 1000HP, 60Dmg, Health:Massive, DmgPot:Large, Stam:100
    Worker L19, 1330HP, 75Dmg, Health:Massive, DmgPot:Large, Stam:133
    Gatherer L23, 1660HP, 90Dmg, Health:Massive, DmgPot:Large, Stam:166
    Patron L28, 2000HP, 110Dmg, Health:Massive, DmgPot:Great, Stam:200
    Thief L32, 2330HP, 130Dmg, Health:Massive, DmgPot:Great, Stam:233
    Rogue L36, 2660HP, 145Dmg, Health:ExtremelyHigh, DmgPot:Great, Stam:266
    Scavenger L41, 3000HP, 165Dmg, Health:ExtremelyHigh, DmgPot:Huge, Stam:300

    Scanner shows all of them (L15 to L41) have same: Agil97, Int55, Psyche50, Str99
Getting hit unarmored Venataur is doing:
    - Adept min 30.8 - max 59.0 damage.
    - Worker min 38.4 - max 74.1damage
    - Gatherer min 46.9 - max 88.2 damage
    - Patron min 57.8 - max 109.3damage
    - Thief min 66.6 - max 123.1damage
    - Rogue min 81.3 - max 142.7damage
    - Scavenger min 84.5 - max 164.7damage

Just need damage type percentanges for Venataur mobs now. ;)
