Heart of the plains (mang chang)

Why doesnt weak mang changs count in this mission? or do they count after the 1st stage maybe?

The mission exists since long before puny and weak maturities were introduced. Changing it to make them count is a double-edged sword, as it devalues the efforts of those who did the mission before under harder conditions. Mang Chang are also a stage in an epic mission chain which was conceived with a certain level of difficulty. I would think the fact that the smaller ones got their own missions recently is already compensating for that.

 

Not on Cyrene atm but doesn't that mission state the maturities???

 

It does, only puny mobs are counted.

the new puny Mang Chang and Rhino only are counting puny, not weak

 

I missed that bit, apologies. Indeed, the question was specifically about weak.

 

If they made weak count.
Everyone will be hunting puny because it is cheaper to finish the mission.

 

I wish a mission for weak mang and rhino

 

I wouldn't complain about these actual working missions.. before you know they will try to fix something and break it.

 

Question, new visitor to Cyrene, wanted to do the mang chang chain, found my way to mission broker Challenger Franks up on the platform at the A.R.C. Staging area, but he doesn't have the Heart of the Plains mission for me, logged out and back in was a no go, is there some pre-requisite mission that needs to be done first?

At the Rookie Training Area there is an NPC called Jon George right next to the tp that asked if you want to go to Atlas Hunting Grounds to kill some small mobs, I said oh I'm not a noob so I skipped it. I went back and did it, there is a mission terminal right near the Atlas Training area TP that gives the kill 100 mang changs. Apparently I am still noob.

Note: They have to be mature or better to count.
